Planner (2010-2012)
Aditi Makharia

Creativity
1) Cooking
Supervisor- Renu Makharia

Outcomes to be achieved:

(a) Undertake a new challenge (How?)

Cooking has never been a cakewalk for me, therefore by choosing
cooking as my creative activity I will undertake a new challenge and learn
to cook. Together with cooking I would plan to invite friends or families at
my house and serve dinner to them.

(b) Develop new skills (How?)

Cooking is a totally unexplored area for me; therefore by making different
cuisines, I would develop new skills. Things like cutting, chopping
vegetables and estimation of the amount of salt to be added are some the
new skills I will develop. With cooking I would also learn the etiquettes of
eating and serving food.
Action
1) Football
Supervisor-Mr. Rajgopalan

Outcomes to be achieved:

(a) Increase awareness of my strengths and areas for growth (How?)

I have been playing football for past 2 years and I have developed a lot as a
player. Passing ball with the correct technique and tackling the opponent
player are my strengths, but there are many techniques which I still need to
learn. Examples: I cannot shoot using the correct foot technique. To
overcome this I will ask my trainer to give me practice in this particular field.

(b) Show perseverance and commitment in my activity (How?)

I would see to it that in school, I attend my SPE lessons regularly. Under my
trainer’s instructions I would also attend practice matches held prior the
tournaments.

(c) Develop new skills (How?)

There are a number of techniques one needs to learn in order to excel in a
sport; therefore I would learn new skills of dribbling and shooting using the
correct method.

(d) Consider the ethical implications of my actions. (How?)

I would look to it that I obey all the rules of the game while I am playing a
match. I would keep up my sportsmanship and accept any fouls made by me.

2) Bhavika Sachania
3) Stephanie Moreno Mena
4) Keya Udeshi

Outcomes to be achieved:

(a) Plan and initiate activities (How?)

As i always see the same charts on the library’s bulletin board, I have
initiated this activity to make the board look more interesting and keep the
students up to date. I will plan as to what to put on the bulletin boards of
the library. I will decide upon the themes and the topics for every month.

(b) Develop new skills (How?)

Art has been one thing which I never thoroughly enjoyed; therefore this
activity will enable me to develop new skills in myself. Making charts look
more attractive and choosing themes which would create more interest in
students are few things I would work towards.

(c) Work collaboratively with others (How?)

[Service + Creativity]
The Chart papers will be made together and everyone’s ideas will be put
in. We will be working as a team therefore co-ordination and team work
will be needed. It will be a form of service to the library and to the school
at large
Collaboration:

1) Spending time in School for underprivileged

children (Service + Creativity)
Supervisor- Harshad Chokshi

Outcomes to be achieved:

(a) Engaged with issues of global importance (How?)

Spending time with underprivileged children and educating them in our own
ways would increase the literacy rate of our country, through a small initiation.
We would read out magazines to them and tell them motivational stories.

(b) Work collaboratively with others (How?)

I would be in a team, therefore I would learn to co-operate with others and
share my ideas as well as listen to theirs. This collaboration will combine both
service and creativity, as we will think of different activities we will do with the
children.
