Element AVITI System
The Element AVITI System reinvents surface chemistry, base detection, and data analysis to offer a flexible and cost-effective
platform for a variety of next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications. Overarching compatibility with standard NGS libraries provides
a straightforward access point to in-house sequencing while integrated and user-friendly software tools streamline operations.

AVITI System Performance Summary

The AVITI System delivers high-performance sequencing metrics through its simple single flow cell and reagent cartridge design.

AVITI Tunable Throughput for Maximum Control

Read throughput is controlled through the AVITI Operating Software during run setup. This feature gives the user maximum control
over the desired combination of turnaround time, read length, and read depth without the burden of maintaining a complicated
inventory of different flow cells and reagents.

Avidite Chemistry Is Key to the AVITI System

Avidity Sequencing reimagines the critical components of NGS and maximizes the combined impact on the accuracy and efficiency
of the cycled reaction. At its core, the AVITI System is built on the unique properties of its avidite chemistry, which has binding
efficiencies that yield high accuracy and reduce reagent consumption by more than log order. This innovation allows the system to
produce state-of-the-art sequencing quality at unmatched sequencing costs in a benchtop format.

A Wide Selection of Sequencing Library Inputs

The AVITI System surface chemistry is designed with a unique proprietary attachment chemistry and oligonucleotide sequences to
achieve optimum sequencing accuracy and cycling efficiency. To adapt to this surface chemistry, the AVITI System comes with both
standard and de novo NGS library prep options to fit seamlessly into nearly any genomics applications workflow.

Preparing your Site for an AVITI System

Performing the Element AVITI System Workflow requires preparing lab space to accommodate the Element AVITI System. The AVITI
System is a benchtop instrument that integrates dedicated chemistry, hardware, and software to amplify and sequence DNA libraries.
Specific preparation will be necessary to prepare for its operation in the laboratory. The following additional items and physical
requirements are all listed in the Element AVITI System Site Prep Guide (MA-00007) at go.elembio.link/user-guides. These include,
without limitation, the following requirements:

• Stable benchtop or table with adequate spacing for ventilation and access
• Power requirements related to plug receptacle and circuit load
