VISION:

A learning center producing well-rounded and God-fearing

children nurtured through a curriculum grounded on Biblical
principles

MISSION:

To provide quality Christian Education and learning experience

which will serve as a foundation for good and productive citizenry

To serve as an arm of New Life Baptist Church in reaching the

community with the Gospel

“To grow in wisdom in stature and in favor with God and men”

-Luke 2:52
BRIEF HISTORY

Alpha Omega Learning Center (AOLC) is an evangelistic arm of New Life

Baptist Church committed to provide a good quality educational experience
with Christian values to kindergarten children in Tacloban City and its
neighboring towns. AOLC derived her name from Revelations 22:13 which
means, “Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.”

In 1991, God opened a door of opportunity for New Life Baptist Church to
expand its ministry reaching out and teaching children ages 3 to 6 years. Ms.
Florita Supino, our first Bible Woman, was motivated to spearhead this
ministry, with the blessing of the Senior Pastor, Rev. Eddie S. Rayos.

On May 13, 2002, AOLC was given recognition by the Department of

Education with permit number 07 s. 2002 and is duly registered in the
Securities and Exchange Commission with number CN 201130036.

God has tremendously blessed the ministry with growing number of pupils to
minister to every year. From ten pupils on its first year of operation in 1993,
it grew to 135 with an average of 35 Kindergarten II graduates each year. To
date, we continue to offer Nursery 1 (3 years old), Nursery 2 (4 years old)
and Kindergarten (5 years old).

To God Belongs Eternal Praise!

AOLC SCHOOL POLICIES

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

- Proverbs 22:6

I. COMMITMENT TO AOLC SCHOOL POLICIES

A. We understand that AOLC is a ministry of New Life Baptist Church
under the direction of the Senior Pastor through the School Board
which isthe policy making body.
B. We understand and agree that as parents, we are automatically
members of the Parents-Teachers Cooperative Effort (PaTCE) and
MUST attend and actively participate in all of the meetings and/or
activities; that the failure to attend, forfeits our rights to complain
about the decisions made during the meeting. However, we may
approach the Administrator for inquiries regarding the minutes of the
meeting.
(Note: Household helps (Yayas) cannot be our substitute.
C. We understand that the AOLC conducts Values Formation Classes for
parents that we MUST attend. For this, we will receive an “Absence Pass
or Assignment Pass” for our child’s benefit.
D. We understand that the AOLC is a church ministry endeavour and a
non-business institution. We fully agree to her Agreement on Payment of
Fees.
E. We understand that the AOLC is a Christian School and therefore, part
of the curriculum is the integration of Biblical teachings which we
agree to support disciplinary procedures. In addition, we agree that it
is our responsibility to follow-up our child/children at home, to
attend to their needs, and to help them in their assignments.
F. We understand and are willing to accommodate/welcome friendly
home-visits from NLBC Pastors, members and AOLC staff.
G. We understand and agree that our child must be fetched in school
within thirty (30) minutes after the class dismissal. We fully
understand that after receiving three (3) warnings on such matter, we
agree that we will shoulder the fee (P150/hour) for the duty
person/teacher-in-charge who will look after our child.
H. We understand that we need to formally inform by writing the school
through the Administrator in case we decide to withdraw our child’s
enrolment.
