“Quality over quantity,” they say, and this maxim is undoubtedly the embodiment of
Mandaue City College, as it is a free-tuition school that never fails to provide its students with
the best quality education that they can provide. When I first learned about Mandaue City
College, I was intrigued by the fact that it is a free-tuition College. To be honest, I had my doubts
at first because I just find it too good to be true, and at the same time, I was afraid that it would
not be the best school for me to be enrolled at. But then I had three of my senior high school
teachers who testified that Mandaue City College is actually much better than some of those
expensive universities that everyone wants to attend to. One of these teachers was actually an
alumna of MCC and the other two had experienced teaching at MCC. I look up to them a lot,
they are one of the best teachers I have ever known, and the fact that they came from MCC says
a lot to me. By this, I was convinced to enroll at Mandaue City College.

Despite being a free-tuition school, MCC never fails to provide us with good educational
services. This is very evident in the school’s Vision, Mission, & Institutional Goals. They offer
educational programs that are highly relevant to our community. It has also become their mission
to ensure that the students have access to higher education, to develop not just their intellectual
growth, but also their social, moral, and spiritual growth. They seek for their students’ success in
their future career paths, mold them into becoming better individuals in this society and become
law-abiding citizens of this country. And I, myself can attest to that since it has been six months
since I became officially enrolled at Mandaue City college. In my six months of being an MCC
student, I have never felt as if the school was lacking something, or they failed at giving us the
educational services that we had hoped to receive. It was actually much more than what we had
expected. The educational services were great—not to mention the outstanding, highly
competent instructors that they have, who never failed to educate us, help us to become
competent with the educational programs that we are in, equip us with great skills, and guide us
as we take the arduous journey of becoming an educator, someday. The staffs as well, were
doing great with their job, and I can really say that MCC had stayed true to their vision, mission,
and institutional objectives.
To sum it all up, Mandaue City College helps its students achieve their personal growth,
and development to be an asset to the community and humanity in general by fulfilling its vision,
mission, and institutional objectives. This can be achieved by giving the students the best
educational services they can give, teach them to become highly competent individual, mold
them into becoming better individuals in this society and become law-abiding citizens of this
country. And lastly, this can all be possible with the help of the faculties, staffs, and government
that was supporting the school.
