International communication

International communication (also known as global communication or transnational communication) is

the practice of communicating across international boundaries. Globalization's rising effects and
influences necessitated international communication. International communication is an area of
communication studies that focuses on the extent of worldwide. Individuals from various countries,
ethnicities, languages, cultural attitudes, and other differences must comprehend and explain
themselves to one another successfully in order to work together. Globalization has a direct impact on
worldwide communication, which aids in the expansion of commercial prospects, the removal of
cultural boundaries, and the development of a global village. The world's natural, cultural, political, and
economic features have all changed as a result of globalization and global communication.

The consequences of globalization on communication, in my opinion, are related to the availability of

information via the internet or other global information services. It has the potential to work both ways,
in my opinion. It is easy to study about natural catastrophes so that you can be prepared if you travel to
that location. People, on the other hand, can press a button and send hate messages to anybody,
anytime, without facing any consequences for their potentially dangerous knowledge or action for
example, cyberbullying. As a result, depending on how it is employed, globalization can be a double-
edged sword. I hope this helps, and I hope I answered your question correctly.

Intercultural communication

Failure to grasp cultural differences can have major effects in international business. In fact, due to a
lack of prior cultural awareness study, entire initiatives have had to be canceled. Because reprinting and
redesigning at the last minute can be highly costly, it's critical to make sure that any language and
graphics utilized are culturally suitable. Intercultural awareness and communication are top goals for
worldwide firms today, which is unsurprising. Intercultural communication is the study of
communication between cultures and social groupings, as well as the various communication processes
and challenges that arise between groups of people from various cultural backgrounds. Understanding
the other party's cultural background, attitudes, and views is just as important as knowing a foreign
language. Intercultural communication skills are crucial in this situation. They are required to
communicate effectively with people from different cultures and social groupings. Intercultural
communication skills also involve the ability to adapt and embrace the fact that other cultures
communicate and do things differently.

Our social relationships have a genuine influence on who we are and how we think about the world. Our
values and behavior are shaped by our social interactions with others. So, when we experience a
significant change in social context (such as that experienced when we move to a foreign country), it
follows that our thoughts change as we need to respond to new constraints and possibilities we are
compelled to think about the world in new ways and conform to new ways of being and doing as we
seek consensus in our social groups not so much culture shock as a kind of cognitive imperative a need
to think about ourselves and where we fit in. Cumulatively, the experiences we encounter influence how
we think about the world, reasoning becomes routine, representing a significant change in identity and
mindset. As a result, when we experience a big change in social environment (such as moving to a
foreign nation), our thoughts alter as we are driven to think about the world in new ways and adapt to
new ways of being and doing as we seek consensus in our social groupings. It's not so much culture
shock as it is a type of cognitive drive, a need to reflect on ourselves and our place in the world. The
experiences we have influence how we think about the world over time, and reasoning becomes second
nature, resulting in a profound shift in identity and perspective.
