Dear Sir,

SUBJECT: A REPORT ON THE INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFICIENCY LEVELS OF


EMPLOYEES IN THE XYZ ORGANIZATION.

As per your letter dated 20th February, 2022 I have been appointed to investigate the
efficiency levels of the employees in the XYZ Organization which is located in Mumbai.

A report on the same has been enclosed with this letter.

REPORT

1] TERMS OF REFERENCE: I was appointed to investigate the XYZ Organization located


in Mumbai regarding the efficiency levels of the employees in the organization.

2] PROCEDURE: Since I was appointed to investigate this, I visited the XYZ Organization
which is located in Mumbai on the 1st of March, 2022. I spoke to each and every employee
working in the XYZ Organization. Due to the absence of a few employees on the 1 st day, I
stayed there for two days and hence the entire procedure took me a total of two days to
complete.

3] FINDINGS: After the investigation was completed, the following observations were
made:

 Most of the employees, on being questioned said that their efficiency levels were low
because of workplace stress. They mentioned about having been overburdened with
various tasks and back to back meetings and deadlines which prevented them from
resting.
 Some employees also mentioned that they never felt like they belonged to that
particular place because they were always underappreciated and that were never given
proper feedbacks or credits for their work.
 Two to Three employees mentioned about being bullied by their own manager which
created a good amount of toxicity in the workplace itself.
 Some employees also mentioned about being underpaid and also that there was
neither hygienic food facility nor was the workplace very hygienic.

4] CONCLUSION: From the above observations that were mad, we can conclude that
due to a lot of stress, overburden, unhygienic conditions, toxicity and poor workplace
conditions, clearly there was a lower efficiency level found I the employees of the
organization.

5] RECCOMENDATIONS/ SOLUTIONS: For solutions,

 The work given to the employees can be divided equally which will eventually
reduce the amount of stress.
 The number of meetings can be reduced and the very urgent and important ones can
be scheduled first.
 Providing employees with feedbacks, irrespective of them being positive or negative
will always help the employees to work better,
 Giving credits to employees for their work is very essential because that is what will
make them feel that they belong to the place and will make them want to work more
and better.
 Bullying employees is not an option because it creates a lot of toxicity and hatred
which also affects the behavior of employees towards their manager. Not only that
but it also affects the mental health of them.
 Keeping the workplace neat and tidy and providing with hygienic food facility is
another essential part. This will prevent employees from falling ill frequently.
