The brand new high speed broaching
cell is the result of Karl Klink´s decades
of experience in hard broaching
technology combined with latest drive
technology.
Up to now hard broaching machines are
based on the heavy traditional
broaching machine design with servo-
hydraulic or electromechanical drive
concepts.
Karl Klink launched a completely new
machine concept adapting for the first
time the highest dynamics of the direct
electrical linear drive.

Technological advantage

The acceleration of the broaching slide

reaches 4g. The maximum broaching
speed is about 220 m/min.
These outstanding values enable:
- optimised hard broaching processes
- short cycle times

Further technical advantages:

- high process stability and work piece
quality by means of stiff and low
vibration drive section
- very compact construction, reduced
setting up surface
- no mechanical wear in drive
