Pride of Disability

Disability is the condition in which any part of our body is unable to move [1]. In the

I am telling you about disabled persons who make
themselves feel pride in their disability. Farida Kahlo is polio- Stephen Hawking is my favorite disabled person. I

III. NICK
Nick is another person who proves disability is a
pride. He makes himself capable of being a role model for
every disabled person. Nick doesn’t have limbs.

At the beginning of his life, he suffered a lot then he
tries to commit suicide, but later on he learned to earn. He is
a motivational speaker now. He has his own company entitled
“Attitude is Altitude”.
IV. ANDREA BOCELLI
Andrea Bocelli is another name of a disabled person
who proves himself proud. He is a Tenor, a musician, writer,
and musical producer of Italian origin. When he was born, he
was a partially blind person but, at the age of 12, he suffered
a blow and became completely blind. He started focusing on
singing and won many awards. He is a good example for
disabled people as a beach is named after him, on the
Adriatic.

V. SUDHA CHANDRAN
Sudha Chandran is an Indian actress who loves to
dance, lost her legs in 1981 in a car accident. After that, she
was on “Japir foot”. She then proves herself; she practices day
to night and learns to dance with her artificial legs, and
becomes the highly acclaimed dancer in the world.

VI SHAZIA
Shazia is a Muslim girl from Quetta, she was 3 years
old when she becomes a victim of polio. She makes herself
proud by doing a master’s in arts and becomes the Pakistani
best daughter by getting a medal of excellence in fine arts.
We are proud of you Shazia!

VII JAMSHAID ANWAR
The Pakistani captain Jamshaid Anwar lost his legs in the
South Waziristan mine blast. He wears prosthetic legs
afterward, but didn't feel disability and come back to his duty
with his artificial legs, because he is proud of his disability.

VIII ABDUL SALAM
Abdul Salam is a remarkable name in Hyderabad,
Sindh who lost his arms but didn’t stop his education.

IX MUHAMMAD NISAR
Muhammad Nisar is not just a name of a person, he
has a whole world in himself, he loves to help others. Besides
having polio, he didn't stop himself from doing anything. He
is the best writer we have. He has many publications and is
working on books. We are proud of Muhammad Nisar for all
of the effort he does for his area kids.

Muslims didn’t feel disability when they are doing
prayer. Islam teaches all of them equality and disabled
persons by saying praying proves that they are proud of their
disability.

studies, from Islamia college University, Peshawar,

TEACHER (SST) Government High school Darra
Adam Khel, Pakistan and he is PTRC (PART-
TIME REGIONAL COORDINATOR) Allama
Iqbal open university Islamabad, Pakistan. He has
previous 3 publications related to COVID-19 and
former FATA. These publications are available on google scholar and
Google. He attended recent conferences of EMS, and successfully
presented his paper. He is also writing a book on FATA women. He has
completed the research paper writing workshop from the California
Institute of Behavioral Neurosciences and Psychology. He is an active
member of the Polio eradication program in Former FR Kohat and
receives several appreciation certificates. He is the chief coordinator of
the education awareness of street children in Darra Adam Khel. He is also
an active member of youth engagement to promote the peace and stability
program. He has performed his duties monthly in the Volunteer Blood
Donor service.
