Reflection Paper of The Happy Prince

This story is a great work of him because he showed about the scarification of a
statue who is the Happy Prince’s spirit to his people. The Happy Prince is prince
of a town, and the name happy princes is named that way because he was never
sad, and he never cared about anything during his life time but when he died
they set him so high on the city, so he could see all the ugliness and all the
misery. He is a messenger of the happy prince. They both helped each other for
helping people in the town.
Finally, I’m absolutely interested in the story because of the characters of the
Happy Prince and Swallow. They are really good in mind even they both are not
a human. Therefore, I strongly recommend to all of my friends to read this story.
Then they will know how important of the word scarification is. The one thing the
author wanted us to understand about this story clearly is everybody can help,
and there is not limited for helping others even we are animals, humans, plants;
We can give our hand to a person who needs help.
Also I have another insight about the ending of the story. I believe the two
characters are the representation of the goodwill of god and subservience of an
angel. The Happy Prince is seen as an ultimate form of generosity and kindness,
I think he literally represents the trait of kindness given to him by kid. Also the
Swallow is I think represents an angel because not only does he follow The
Happy Prince but he also carries out his orders. I think the hard evidence on this
is right at the end when both of them are literally praised for their actions in
heaven. If everybody were just a little bit like this then the world would be so
much better.
