2. Why is volleyball considered a team sport? Write your answers on your notepads.

Volleyball is considered as a team sport in a sense that it is a sport which is

played by more than two players and is composed of two teams that will compete with

each other. If there are only two players, it may be difficult for both players to efficiently

bat the ball back and forth. It is played with teams because without the other players,

one player cannot easily function, but with the help of other players, the team can get

scores and win the game. Teamwork and cooperation is needed in this sport.

Therefore, volleyball is best played with teams that is why it is considered as a team

sports.
