MNREGA IS mahatma Gandhi national rural employment guarantee act.

Officially launched on 2nd feb 2006, and it was passed from both the
houses on 23rd august 2005. Earlier this act was known as national rural
employment act.
The key stakeholders of MNREGA act are:
1. Gram sabha
2. Wage seekers
3. Panchayati raj institutions
4. State govt.
5. Ministry of rural development
6. The civil society
The mandate thing that is provided by MNREGA is 100 days
employment to the needed ones under this scheme.

The history of MNERGA

In the year 1991 P.V Narsimha rao govt. proposed an idea of

generating employment in the rural areas. Aiming the followings –

- Employment generation in the agriculture sector during the time

when the season is lean for growing crops.
- Better food security
- Infrastructure development
This scheme during those days were called as employment
assurance scheme.

Objectives of MNERGA act –

1. Provide 100 days employment for the unemployed who are
under this scheme.
2. Increase economic society
3. Decrease migration of labour from rural to urban areas.
MNERGA post covid crisis –
Money Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on March 26th, 2020, the labours under
the MGNREGA would get a climb of Rs. 2000 each on a normal. It was
likewise announced that three crore senior citizens, people with inabilities, and
widows will get a one-time extra measure of Rs 1,000 out of two portions which
will be given through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) more than 90 days. This
declaration was made as a drive towards the misfortune brought about by the
Covid-19 episode. The 21 days lockdown was relied upon to cost the Indian
Economy an expense of around 9 lakh crores. Assets worth Rs 31,000 crore are
likewise to be given to increase medicaql testing, screening, and giving better
medical care offices to the individuals who have been influenced monetarily
because of the Covid-19 flare-up.

economic development surveys the extension of a nation's economy. Today, it is

most prominently estimated by policymaker and scholastics the same by
expanding gross domestic product or GDP. This pointer appraises the worth
included a country which is the absolute worth, all things considered, and
benefits created in a country less the worth of the labor and products expected to
deliver them. It is normal to separate this pointer by a country's populace to
more readily measure how useful and fostered an economy is – the GDP per
capita.
But is it really true, that measuring just the GDP is actually a sign of good
developing nation. Well, no certainly!
economic development, estimated prevalently through GDP, is a correlative
pointer to development, yet not a sufficient marker when considered all alone.
The challenge of modern day capitalism is to adjust its job as a proficient and
viable method of creation with its propensity to focus pay, riches and, in this
way, influence. Truth be told, social development will lead to economic
progress and that is where the other alternative factors like
1. Human development index
2. Human capital index
3. The social progress index
Has been introduced in the scenario
The measurement of GDP could also be made more robust if it captured, not
only physical capital yet in addition natural and human capital. When separated
from social development, economic development in its unadulterated
bookkeeping design (GDP extension) will unavoidably bring about less
inclusivity and a summed up feeling of social discontent, malicious in just
social orders.
Therefore, that is why current measure of economic growth as GDP has many
limitations when used to assess development. Given the multi-dimensional nature
of development, the SPI can be seen as a more adequate indicator.

Development communication refers to the communication that facilitates

the overall development of a society. Development communication includes
education, information deciphering, behavior, social marketing, social
mobilization, media, communication for social change and encouraging
everyone to participate in society’s all together growth.
Development communication is important because, Aiding individuals at all
levels to convey engages them to perceive significant issues and discover shared
beliefs for activity, and constructs a feeling of personality and support to
execute their choices. What's more, development includes change, better
approaches for getting things done.
The sequential procedure for using development communication is –
1. Plan
2. Draft
3. Edit proofread or revise
4. Evaluate
The diffusion of innovation is the process by which new products are adopted
(or not) by their intended audiences. It allows designers and marketers to
examine why it is that some inferior products are successful when some
superior products are not.

The idea of diffusion is not new; in fact it was originally examined by Gabriel
Tarde, a French sociologist, in the 19th century. However, it wasn’t until the
1920s and 1930s that the phenomenon began to be investigated in depth by
researchers.

One of the most significant early studies was conducted by Ryan and Gross in
1943. This solidified previous research into the adoption of seeds in agricultural
communities and provided a strong basis for diffusion research in the future.

In his book, Diffusion of Innovations published in 1962, Everett Rogers, a

sociology professor, provides a full framework for diffusion of innovation based
on over 500 studies into the phenomenon in many different disciplines. Rogers’
text, to this day, provides the formal understanding on which modern research
into the diffusion of innovation is based.

The five stages of the process diffusion of innovation –

1. Knowledge

The initial phase in the diffusion of innovation is knowledge. This is

where the eventual adopter is first presented to the actual development.
They need more data to settle on a choice to buy on and have not yet been
adequately propelled to discover more.

at this stage advertisers will be hoping to expand attention to the item and
give sufficient instruction that the imminent adopter moves to the second
stage.

2. Persuasion

Persuasion is the point at which the prospective adopter is open to the

idea of purchase. They are actively seeking information which will
inform their eventual decision.

This is the point at which marketers will be seeking to convey the

benefits of the product in detail. There will be a conscious effort to sell
the product to someone at this stage of the diffusion of innovation.

3. Decision

Ultimately the eventual adopter should settle on a decision. They will

weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of reception and either
acknowledge the development or reject it.

It is significant that this is the most obscure piece of the interaction.

Rogers refers to this as the most troublesome stage on which to gain
insight. This is, essentially to some degree, because of the way that
individuals don't settle on sane choices in many occurrences. They settle
on a choice dependent on their hidden discernments and sentiments and
following the choice they endeavor to legitimize that choice.
Subsequently, getting a comprehension of the dynamic interaction is
testing – the reasons given after a choice are not prone to be illustrative of
the real reasons that a choice was made.
4. Implementation

Once a decision to adopt a product has been made the product will, in most
cases, be used by the purchaser. This stage is when the adopter makes a decision
as to whether or not the product is actually useful to them. They may also seek
out further information to either support the use of the product or to better
understand the product in context.

This phase is interesting because it suggests that designers and marketers alike
need to consider the ownership process in detail. How can a user obtain useful
information in the post-sale environment? The quality of the implementation
experience is going to be determined, to a lesser or greater extent, by the ease of
access to information and the quality of that information.

5. Confirmation

This is the point at which the user evaluates their decision and decides whether
they will keep using the product or abandon use of the product. This phase can
only be ended by abandonment of a product otherwise it is continual. (For
example, you may buy a new car today – you are highly likely to keep using the
car for a number of years – eventually, however, you will probably sell the car
and buy a new one).

This phase will normally involve a personal examination of the product and also
a social one (the user will seek confirmation from their peers, colleagues,
friends, etc.)

Diffusion and Adoption

It is worth noting that adoption is the process by which a user begins and
continues to use a product; diffusion is a measure of the rate of adoption. It
considers the relationship not just between any given user and a product but the
relationship between all users, each other and the product.

Rogers’ diffusion studies offered some interesting advice for driving the rate of
diffusion including:

 Examining social networks (it’s worth noting that Rogers wasn’t talking
about Facebook or LinkedIn here though the idea applies in a similar way
in digital networks but rather “real life” social networks) and finding
highly respected individuals and working with them to create desire for
an innovation
 Determining a representative group of desired users and “injecting” the
innovation into that group to gain positive feedback, case studies, etc. to
help make the decision making process easier for other would-be early
adopters
Diffusion recognizes that adoption is not an isolated process but rather one
which is influenced heavily by other members of the adoption cycle.

Failure of Diffusion

Failure for a product to diffuse within a market does not always mean that there
is a flaw in the product. It may mean that the product has failed due to
competition from other innovations or simply because of a lack of awareness or
knowledge.

Rogers cites a village called Las Molinas in Peru. This place of poverty had
high rates of disease. Villagers did not understand the relationship between
cleanliness and their own health.

This should have been easy to address; the residents had the resources to devote
to hygiene and thus just required education. A campaign team arrived to provide

Moderator in a radio discussion is someone who acts as a neutral participant in

the discussion whose sole purpose is to direct the way of conversation in the
discussion among the participants. He basically tries to keep the participants
time bounded and restrict them to go off way of the discussion. Sometimes the
moderator himself/herself can ask questions to the participants so that they
develop an argument that is to the point of the thematic discussion, this is one of
the other tricks to manipulate participants to stick to the theme.
There are some following points the moderators are suppose to do –
1. Keeping the charge in control all the time.
let panelists know how long you'd like for them to talk when responding
to questions, that you may intrude on them, and that you need them to
add to the conversation—not recurrent something another panelist has
said.
2. Taking notes and building good space for continuing the discussion
Obviously, you should design a rundown of inquiries ahead of time—a
greater number of inquiries than you have the opportunity to cover. Yet in
addition be anxious to take part at the time. That implies tuning in—
similarly as you trust the crowd is tuning in—and returning again to get
more on something a panelist says.

3. Demanding explanation or reasons from the panellists

Being a moderator your job is to make your panellist explain their points
is such a way so that even audience could understand

4. Manage the audience’s questions

While an ongoing discussion it is obvious that there would be some
enthusiastic listeners who would also want to share their point of views.
So managing that on a radio call is a very important thing to know as a
moderator

5. Managing the time

Keeping it time bounded is very necessary because the show ain’t going
to run for whole day.

Amplitude modulation –
1. amplitude modulation is a modulating technique where the amplitide
of a transporter differs relying upon the data signal. AM radio station
signals use lower carrier frequencies, this assists them with voyaging
significant distances. Now and then AM signs can have the option to
bob off the ionosphere. The distance went by the AM is a lot bigger
than the FM.
2. The first successful audio transmission was carried out in 1870’s.
3. The radio wave is called a carrier wave and the frequency as well as
phase remains the same.
4. It has poor sound quality.
5. More susceptible to noise.

Frequency modulation –
1. In this module, the recurrence of the carrier wave is adjusted by the
sign that carries information. The radio signs have enormous
transmission capacity than AM radio signs, which assists with offering
much better strong quality. Recurrence adjustment likewise empowers
to communicate sound system signals.
2. It was developed in 1930,s by edwin in united states.

3. The radio wave is called carrier wave. But, frequency and phase
remain the same.

4. Has better sound quality

5. Less susceptible to noise.

Linear editing-
linear editing is the method involved with moving fragments of video and
additionally sound from crude film tapes onto a record tape. These fragments
can be taken from any area on your unique tapes and edited onto the record tape
in arrangement. The completed program is called the "edit expert" or "master".

TIME CODE/CONTROL TRACK

Time code/control track is recorded simultaneously while video is recorded.
Time code is time information recorded on a tape. The time is communicated in
units of hours, minutes, seconds furthermore, outlines, and whenever recorded
constantly from the start of a tape, used to decide the outright situation of video
and sound recorded on the tape. Control track is a progression of electronic
heartbeats recorded on a tape. Those heartbeats are called edges and there are
about 30 casings for each second of tape. Those heartbeats give your tape
solidness and synchronicity. Time code/control track is to tape like preliminary
is to paint or railroad tracks are to trains, a fundamental however basic
component. On the off chance that your tape doesn't have time code/control
track, your video or sound signs will not record effectively on your tape. How
would you set up time code/control track on your tape? There are two different
ways. One, as referenced above, is to record, yet that isn't exceptionally exact
when you are attempting to editing. The second is through one of the two sorts
of altering called assemble editing.
- Two types of linear editing
1. Assemble editing
This sort of editing permits you to collect the fundamental bits
of your different video fragments. During a assemble edit, all
signs (video, sound, and control track) are recorded. This sort of
editing is done in sequential request, sorting out alters
consecutive on the edit master tape. Gather alters build up the
time code/control track on your tape. At the point when you
perform assemble edits, the start of the edit is exceptionally
exact and clean, yet the end is extremely harsh and lopsided—
the time code/control track breaks toward the finish of each
assemble alter.

2. Insert editing
Insert editing allows you to select and insert video and/or audio
signals into your program. Insert edits are used to add music,
full page graphics and cut-away shots. They add depth and
interest to programs.

Non linear editing –

Non-linear editing (NLE) is an editing process that enables the editor to

make changes to a video or audio project without regard to the linear
timeline. In other words, you can work on whichever clip you want in any
order. It doesn’t matter if it lands in the beginning, middle, or end of the
project.
Advantages of linear editing-
It may appear to be more hard to alter recordings arbitrarily, however
non-linear editing gives a few advantages to video creators.

First — it doesn't adjust the first substance. Since non-linear editing is

refined with a video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, you can
transfer every one of the clasps without a moment's delay and intuitive
them to the legitimate areas in the course of events. On the off chance
that you don't care for where something winds up, you can undoubtedly
move it without changing the remainder of the undertaking. You can even
alter recordings in a hurry directly from your cell phone.

Second — non-linear editing gives makers considerably more opportunity

all through the altering system. You can begin working any place you
like. On the off chance that you don't have an arrangement set up in
advance, that is OK. Non-direct altering allows you to utilize an
experimentation technique. Make an awful alter? Simply fix the
progressions and attempt once more. This strategy considers substantially
more imagination than straight editing.

Offline editing-

offline editing begins when the video editor (or tape operator) takes raw footage
and makes a duplicate of it that has been transcoded down to a more compressed
format like prored or an intermediate codec.
The transcoded footage is now proxy footage and it exist as at lower resolution
(and lower file size) than the raw files. The video editor will use this proxy footage
through the rough, fine and final cut. Once they move torward exporting the
project, the original high resolution footage replaces the proxy footage. At this
point the edit becomes ‘online’.

Online editing-
online editing is the handling of video or graphic editing which is done as the last
advance of video making. This progression is something contrary to disconnected
editing, where a video is prepared in its soonest and most crude state. In little
creations, online-disconnected work process is supplanted with video altering
programming chipping away at a non-direct altering framework (NLE), though
complex post-creations that use high-grade gear actually utilize disconnected
internet based work process.

Cloud based editing –

There are many advantages to taking your video creation to the cloud (as we
referenced in our past post). For video altering explicitly, the force of the cloud is
exceptionally helpful for cooperation with others (frequently distant patrons) and
for keeping your records incorporated on the web. Yet, should everybody
unexpectedly be leaping to cloud video altering?

Cloud video editing is certainly not a one-for-all arrangement. Contingent upon

what you need, you might have to take a gander at various kinds of cloud video
editors (or, it may turn out that work area altering is the thing that you need).
We've checked out 4 unmistakable situations for utilizing cloud video altering
stages, beginning from making the least complex recordings and going as far as
possible up to expert video making.

Role of a video editor

As a film/video editor, you'll oversee material like camera film, exchange, audio
cues, designs and enhancements to create a last film or video item. This is a critical
job in the after creation measure and your abilities can decide the quality and
conveyance of the completed outcome. You'll for the most part work intimately
with the chief to accomplish the ideal outcome.

Business will in general be on an independent premise, and you'll no doubt work

on transient agreements for after creation studios, TV organizations and corporate
bosses.

Computerized innovation, expert PC programming and top notch digitisation of

sound and pictures have viably supplanted the customary manual strategy for
cutting film. In certain occasions, you might be given artistic liberty, while in
others you'll simply be needed to work the vital machines.

Follows are some responsibilities –

Your work as an editor will include:

getting a brief, and possibly a layout of film as well as a shot rundown, content, or
screenplay

gathering all crude film, with camera shots either recorded or moved onto video
tape in anticipation of contributing into the PC

contributing whole surges and sound, and synchronizing and putting away them
into documents on the PC
carefully slicing records to assemble the grouping of the film and choosing what's
usable

making a 'unpleasant cut' (or get together alter) of the program/film and deciding
the specific cutting for the following and last stages

reordering and adjusting the substance to guarantee the legitimate sequencing and
smooth running of the film/video.

Video editing is the most common way of controlling video by revamping various
shots and scenes to make an entirely different yield. It tends to be just about as
basic as sewing together various scenes and shots with basic video advances, and
can become as muddled as adding distinctive PC produced symbolism (CGI),
sound and integrating various components, which might require years, a great
many worker hours and a huge number of dollars to achieve, similar to the case
with huge spending plan films.
