8. Question words:
How many (hỏi về số lượng)/ How much (hỏi về giá cả), trong tiếng Anh còn có một loạt từ
hỏi nữa và các từ hỏi này đều bắt đầu bằng chữ Wh-. Các từ hỏi Wh- bao gồm: What (gì, cái
gì), Which (nào, cái nào), Who (ai), Whom (ai), Whose (của ai), Why (tại sao, vì sao), Where
(đâu, ở đâu), When (khi nào, bao giờ).

10. Comparisons of adjectives and adverbs ( So sánh của tính từ và trạng từ)
10.1. Equal degree (So sánh bằng)
S1 + be/ V + as + adj / adv + as + S2 + aux (trợ động từ)
E.g: He is as old as my father.
He drives as carefully as I (do).
S + be/V + the same+(noun) as + noun (pronoun)
My house is as high as yours
My house is the same height as yours.
S1 + V (phủ định) + as/so + adj/adv + as + S2 + aux
E.g: He is not as/so old as my father.
He doesn’t drive as/so carefully asI (do).
10.2. Comparatives (So sánh hơn)
S1 + be/ V + adj/ adv (short) -er + than + S2 + aux
E.g: You arethinner than he (is).
He runs faster than I (do).
S1 + be/V + more + adj/ adv (long) + than + S2 + aux
E.g: He is more intelligent than I (am).
He drives more carefully than I (do).
10.3. Superlatives (So sánh nhất)
S + be/V + the + adj/ adv (short) - est + (noun + in/of …..)
E.g: Nam is the tallest student in my class.
Cheetah runs the fastest in the world.
S + be/ V + the most + adj/ adv(long) + (noun + in/of …..)
E.g: He is the most intelligent student in my class.

Last week Nick and some his classmates went to the countryside. They went to visit a
farm of Nick’s uncle. They left early in the morning and went there by bus. Nick’s uncle, Mr.
Brown met them at the bus stop and took them to their farm. On the way, Uncle Brown
showed them the field of wheat (lúa mì) and vegetables where some tractors (máy kéo) were
