To whom it may concern:

It is my honor and privilege to recommend Ms. Julia Richman for acceptance into your preceptorship program. I
recently had the pleasure of having Julia as one of my students during her five-week mental health clinical rotation
this semester. This rotation fulfills a portion of the NURS 451: Nursing Field Immersion in Integrative Management
of Complex Conditions course in Level 3 of The University of Arizona Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Integrative
Health (BSN-IH) program. Throughout my interactions with Julia, she has demonstrated a kind and compassionate
demeanor, a keen interest in all aspects of patient care, and an eagerness to seek out new learning opportunities.
Always coming prepared, Ms. Richman has far exceeded my expectations when it comes to the quality of her work
and her level of competency as a student nurse. She is an effective communicator, with a strong work ethic. Her
ability to contribute to discussion with value and her grasp of difficult patient-care concepts is both admirable
refreshing.

Furthermore, Ms. Richman has obtained over 171 clinical hours and experience with administering COVID-19
vaccinations, medical-surgical nursing, obstetrics (antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum), pediatrics
(oncology/hematology and ICU), and most recently, adult mental health. It has been an honor to have Julia as a
student, and I am confident that she will make an excellent addition to your preceptorship program. I
wholeheartedly recommend her without reservation.
