Block (4) Week (5) Robot Tournament part 2

Description:
This project involves creating a algorithm , flowchart and scratch program. (Individual task/25
marks)
Unit name: Robot Tournament part 2

Learning outcomes:
 6-2-3 use flowcharts to write and correct (de-bug) algorithms
 6-2-4 work with various forms of input and output when monitoring and controlling
physical systems
 6-6-3 illustrate how input data can be used to determine action in a computer
program
 6-2-5 explore and interpret solutions to problems using onscreen simulations
 6-2-1 use variables, inputs, and outputs
 6-6-1 model a solution for a given problem

Success criteria:
 Write correct steps in algorithm
 Draw a flowchart .
 Use the correct shapes and a correct direction in the flowchart.
 Create a scratch program.

Rubric:

Presentation or video that include:

 Draw a flow chart shows the steps needed to check to see if a hot drink is at a suitable
temperature to be drinkable. The temperature should be between 50o C and 70o C.
a- If the temperature bigger than 70 , it’s too hot to drink

b- If the temperature smaller than 70 : A Output “Too cold”

1- If the temperature bigger than 50 , it’s ok to drink B Output “Too hot”

2- If the temperature smaller than 50 , it’s too cold to drink C Output “Ok to drink”
D Input Temp
 Use for drawing flowchart (Microsoft word) then save
E Is Temp < 50o C
the document by your name and class.
 OR use any paper to draw flowchart and write your name under the flowchart then
take a photo for it and save it by your name and class.
[15]

 Create a scratch program that ask the user to choose a number and draw shapes.
 Choose a sprite from your choice. [1]
 Ask the user to input 1, 2, 3 OR 4. [1]
 If the answer of the user is 1: make the sprite draw a triangle [3]
 If the answer of the user is 2: make the sprite draw a square [3]
 If the answer of the user is 3: make the sprite draw a pentagon [3]
 If the answer of the user is 4: make the user draw a hexagon [3]
 On time delivery (due date: 3/3/2022). [1]
