1 Read the following text.
Saludos
En español podemos hablar en estilo formal o informal. En estilo
formal usamos usted (Ud.) y ustedes (Uds.) para hablar con perso-
nas desconocidas, de mayor edad o superiores en el trabajo: un
jefe, un profesor, un médico. También en estilo formal utilizamos
las fórmulas señor (Sr.) y señora (Sra.) con el apellido: Sr. Pérez.
En estilo informal usamos el nombre, y es muy habitual decir ¡hola!
para saludar y ¡hasta luego!, para despedirse; pero también deci-
mos ¡adiós!, ¡hasta mañana! o ¡hasta pronto!
En estilo formal e informal es normal saludar también con ¡buenos
días!, por la mañana; ¡buenas tardes!, por la tarde; y ¡buenas no-
ches!, por la noche.
