MEALS

Normally I eat 3 or 4 times a day. These meals are breakfast, elevenses, lunch
and dinner. I usually have breakfast around 7. I have some sandwiches, or
yoghurt with tea or milk.
Then I have elevenses in the snack bar. I have lunch in the school canteen. The
first course is usually some soup (vegetable, meat, chicken or fruit soup) and
the secound one is meat (pork, beef, veal, chicken, duck, turkey or fish) with a
garnish. To tell the truth, I am satisfied with the canteen food.
The last meal of the day is dinner, which I have at about half past nine.. I don’t
eat much for dinner unless there is some left-over from lunch. But normally I
just have a sandwich or some cold cuts and eggs for supper. I eat the

To stay healthy, you have to drink a lot of liquid and eat vegetables and fruits
for example: carrots, cucumber, green pepper, plum, apple, pear, banana…etc.
Eating a lot of cereals and wholemeal bread is healthy, too. Experts say we
should eat 5 times a day in small portions.

Our most popular national dishes are: chicken paprika with sour creme, noodles
with cottage cheese, stuffed cabbage, fish soup and galuska. The Hungarian
cuisine is very famous all over the world. We use a lot of spices for cooking.
