The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians in Jerusalem has escalated over the past few
weeks. Israel has blocked places where Palestinians gather to socialize during iftar.

The incident resulted in clashes for two weeks before Israel lifted the border. However,
clashes have occurred again in recent days as Israel threatened to evict dozens of Palestinians
in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

What we can do as students is

1. Everyone's voice in the world is precious. Because silence is treason, so raise our voices
against all forms of imperialism and injustice. It can be in direct action in the field or through
writing in cyberspace.
2. Each of us has at least one vote that we give to our leaders. We can urge the
representatives of the people and the leaders of this nation, whom we have voted for, to take
their stand seriously.
