1. How did you find P.E. and health as an integral part of the education process?
Physical Education promotes growth and development and has multiple benefits
for physical health, mental, social and can contribute to learning. Physical Education
includes doing physical activity that reduces the risk for heart disease, diabetes,
osteoporosis, high blood pressure, obesity and many more. Physical Education improves
mental health by decreasing and preventing conditions such as anxiety and depression, as
well as improving mood and depression. Physical Education designed to do so can
improve social outcomes such as self-concept, social behaviors, goal orientation and self-
discipline. Physical Education address unique health and contribute in distinct ways to
children’s health, suggesting that many plans, such as aerobic and resistance exercise,
and both longer sessions and shorter bouts will likely confer the greatest benefit. If you
attain to achieve all those benefits, you can finish your studies successfully, if you
maintain your good health and healthy physical condition there is no hindrance for you in
achieving your goals in life. Successfully achieve your dream job, can provide family’s
needs and want and have stable life, all of this will be on your hand if you did not have
illness, diseases and maintain the good body built if you study your Physical Education
seriously, and consider the subject just like your major subjects.

2. Explain your own concept of physical education, how physical education develops a
total person and how physical education plays an important role in the life of every
individual.
As we step on to higher level of education, from primary, secondary to tertiary
level, Physical Education becomes more difficult and complicated. During our
elementary days, we take our PE class as our break, because we are just playing, we
perform our activities with a little play involve. When we reach secondary, we take it a
bit serious, we perform different activities, such as folk dance, festival dance, cheerdance,
hiphop, modern dance, etc. We learn to have teamwork in a team, because we cannot
perform all those dances if we are alone and does not cooperate in a group performance.
Some of us develop our potential to be a leader, for those leading a team and
choreographing the group. As we reach our tertiary level, or the college, it is harder,
because we perform a difficult activities. Such as Zumba, Arnis and swimming. This
activities contains more difficult rules and regulations, and involves lots of strategies.
Physical Education develops a total person, by developing its potentials as a person,
develops different skills and talents that will help him grow as a good person. It also
develop the mental capabilities of the students to understand more difficult instructions
and think of an effective strategies and know the values teamwork and how it
successfully lift up a team. Physical Education plays a role in the life of every individual
by developing the child’s potential to become a great person someday.
