Statement on the Active Shooter Incident at Team Wellness Center in Detroit

Detroit, MI (March 30, 2022) - The entire Team Wellness Center family is shocked and
saddened by the events that took place at our Team East campus today. Our thoughts and
prayers are with the members, staff, and families who were affected by this tragedy.

We are grateful to staff and law enforcement who quickly took action to address this
dangerous situation. At this point, we are unsure why a visitor to our site would open fire,
but we are working with law enforcement to get a better understanding of how and why
this happened.
