PART 6: WRITING
Hi Robbie, I’m very happy that you’re willing to help me paint my bedroom. What do you think if
the room is painted gray color? It will certainly be beautyful. We will start painting at 3pm
tomorrow, so you can arrive at 2:45. I have prepare all the tools, so you don’t need to bring
anything. You should wear comfortable clothes to be able to work easily. See you soon,
Hi Robbie, I’m very glad when you are going to help me paint your bedroom. I am going to use the
pink paint. Pink signifies femininity, and I adore it, thus I intend to paint my room pink. I'll start on
Sunday next week. Please come dressed comfortably and avoid wearing white because it readily
gets soiled. See you soon.
This weekend I’m going to paint my bedroom the way I like it. Blue is my favorite color, so it will
also be used as the main color for this room. The mural work requires an old set of clothes as it
can stain my clothes and is very difficult to clean.
Hi Robbie, Christmas is coming. So I want to redecorate my bedroom. I will paint the walls blue and red and
white to match the Christmas atmosphere. In addition, we'll stick some pictures of Santa and his reindeer. I
think it is necessary to decorate a pine tree and bells. I will put it in the middle of the room. This Sunday will be
a great day to do it. Remember, to avoid paint stains on the clothes you should wear dark colors. If you are
busy on Sunday, please call me to choose another day.
I will be happy if you suggest more ideas for decorating. Thanks. See you soon.
Dear Robbie, It’s been a long time since we last met, i miss you so much. I just moved into a new
house and I need your help. I’m going to paint my bedroom and creamy white is the colour that I
choose to paint. Do you think it is suitable for my room? I will start on weekend morning. House
painting will stain our clothes, so I recommend I recommend we wear worn-out clothes. I look
forward to your presence. Love you.
You are going to paint your bedroom. Your friend Robbie is going to help you. Write a
note (25-35 words) to Robbie. Say:

Rob Stone and the school play

28 | P a g e
Last week, Rob Stone, the famous British actor and star of many Hollywood films,
had a party for his 53rd birthday. Rob invited a lot of other actors to his beautiful
home for his party. After dinner, he stood up and spoke to everyone there. He told
them about something that happened when he was at school 40 years ago. As a
schoolboy, Rob loved the theatre and he was very happy when he had his first part in a
play. It was a very sad play by Shakespeare, the sixteenth-century English writer.
Rob played the part of an old man who had to die on stage. He practised and practised
to become good at the part. He had to lie on a bed, say a few sad words of goodbye to
his sons and then shout in pain and die.
Like all the other parents, Mr and Mrs Stone came to watch their son in the play. Rob
told his guests, 'I shall never forget that evening. It was terrible. As I died, I could hear
my father laughing! I still remember now how bad I felt and I have not asked my
father to one of my plays since.'
