1. Liver :(Yin)

Diseases : Any disturbance in this causes problems like headache, vertigo, blurred
vision, ringing in ears, spasms of foot and hands, fullness in abdomen, vomiting,
jaundice, pain in abdomen, hernia, and problems of throat and urinary system. It also
governs planning and starting skills, perseverance, clarity, organizational abilities,
ambition and patience.

2. Gall Bladder : (Yang)

Location : It is a long meridian that runs from the head to the tip of the little toe. It
has 44 points.

Diseases : Any disturbance in this causes problems of fever, headaches, pain in ribs,
diseases of nose, eye, throat and lower chest. It causes vomiting and bitter taste in
mouth. It also controls good decision making abilities, momentum, and inspiration
behind decisions.

3. Heart :(Yin)

Location : This starts from the heart and has three branches, one ends under the eyes,
the second one ends near the small intestine and the third ends in the tip of little
finger. It has 9 points.

Diseases : Disturbances of this meridian result in chest, tongue, heart and psychiatric
problems. It is association with heart, mind and long term memory and hence care
should be taken when self-treating.

Location : It starts from the outer side of the little finger, travels upto the behind of
shoulders, then comes to the front and goes upto the stomach. One of its branches
goes till the sides of cheek and then divides into two more branches that end in ear
and innermost point of eye. It has 19 points.

Diseases : Any disturbance in this causes problems of head and neck, eye, ear, throat,
fever and mind. It is associated with heart and helps in clearing all its blockages,
even emotional.

love, happiness, contentment, warmth and concern in relationship, enthusiasm.

Location : It runs from the tip of the ring finger to the outer end of the eyebrow. It
has 23 points.

Diseases : Any disturbance in this causes disorders of er, eye, throat, lower chest and
causes headaches and fevers.

It is also concerned with regulating warmth and balancing the body’s fluid levels
between the kidney and the heart, stimulating the lymph system.

balance and support.

detoxifying.

It also affects the urinary system and genitals and affects the throat and mind. It also
governs growth, will power and short-term memory.

and then it goes back and travels from the back of the head to side of spine
downwards until the back of legs and ends in the lateral side of the tip of the small
toe. It has 67 points.

Diseases : Disturbance in this causes problems of the abdomen, intestines, urinary

system, and of the genitals. It is associated with transformation of fluids in the body.

There are two more meridians used in Byol Meridian Therapy. One is Conception
Vessel, which controls all Yin meridians and the other is Governor Vessel, which
controls all Yang meridians.

1. Conception Vessel : (REN) (Yin)

Location : This starts from the center of the body near anus in the front of the body
and ends in the roof of the mouth. It has 24 points.

Diseases : Any problem in this can cause problems of throat, chest, abdomen,
umbilical region, digestive disturbances and disorders of urinary and reproductive
systems.

2. Governor Vessel : (DU) (Yang)

Location : This runs from just above the anus (perineum) to the bridge between the
upper lip and nose. Points are on the spine it self, just below the bony prominences,
whereas the bladder points are beside the spine. It has 28 points.

Diseases : It is generally indicated for disorders of head and brain and those involving
fevers. Disturbance in this causes problems of lung, heart, liver, stomach, gall
bladder, spleen, lower back and loints. There can also be problems of kidney, urinary
bladder, small intestine and large intestines.
