D10024A Analog Fire Alarm Control Panel
The D10024A is an advanced analog fire alarm control panel
(FACP) that identifies points using intelligent, addressable
devices. On the front of the control panel, light-emitting
diodes (LEDs) show power, trouble, supervisory, alarm, and
reset conditions, and the keypad is used for system control
and programming. In addition, an 80-character
alphanumeric LCD annunciator provides programmed
device point information, and four keys are dedicated to
Reset, Alarm Silence, Trouble Silence, and Drill functions.
The D10024A has four onboard notification appliance
circuits (NAC) that can be expanded through the use of
addressable NAC modules. These circuits can be
programmed with specific alarm patterns.
Functions
Event Activity Log
The FACP stores up to 500 events in its memory log;
recording the time, date, event, and point ID for each event.
Events include alarm, system restoral, trouble status, and
system status events. The events stored in memory can be
retrieved and displayed at the front panel LCD display. In
addition, an 80-character alphanumeric LCD annunciator
shows programmed device point information.

Fire System Controller
Use the Fire System Controller in the front of the control
panel for total system control. Its keypad allows installer
and end user programming, event viewing, and device
control. The D10024A has four keys dedicated to System
Reset, Alarm Silence, Trouble Silence, and Drill functions.
Active devices are identified through custom text and LEDs
that display on the front of the control panel and at the
optional external annunciators.
Indication (Output) Circuits
The D10024A has four on-board circuits for indicating
devices and supports up to 400 programmable and
addressable remote output circuits for auxiliary control.
These circuits can be programmed for specific alarm
patterns and timed output.
Networking
Each D10024A has five expansion slots for plug-in polling
circuit modules (D9067). Each module supports 126 analog
addressable devices, giving the FACP up to 630 addresses
in a stand-alone system. To simplify system operation,
flexible system design allows device points to be grouped
together and identified as one location or zone. Up to four
FACPs can be connected in a shared zone network with up
to 2520 addressable points in 100 zones. Nine
independently‑operating FACPs can report to a dedicated
master FACP in a report and control network.
