Reflection Paper
Physical Fitness is the primary specific objective in teaching Physical Education. It is
the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigor and alertness, without undue fatigue, and
with ample energy to enjoy leisure time pursuits and meet unforeseen circumstances.
It aims to improve one’s physical competence and knowledge of their bodily
movements and activities to be able to perform different day-to-day lifestyle with
ease. It also helps develop attitude and behavior towards living a healthy life. And for
that we cannot deny the importance of physical fitness in our lives.
But physical fitness is more than just a everyday lifestyle, it is a means in becoming
the best version one can have. Through physical fitness, we can express ourselves in
ways that we didn’t expect whether it be the way we think or the way we feel.
Physical education and having good physical fitness also helps us develop how we
socialize towards other people for we tend to work in group when doing some
physical activities. It also helps in building discipline and responsibility in a person to
which the said attributes play a crucial role in the journey towards self-actualization.
There are a lot of things that we can benefit and learn from the last discussion that
truly explain and good resources of knowledge to maintain a good healthy lifestyle.
With all of those being said, we should always keep in mind that physical fitness is
more than just the sweats and weariness, it is also a combination of fun and staying
healthy for a more comfortable life.
