A CONSTRUCTION FIRM NEEDS TO CONSTRUCT A HYDROELECTRIC DAM. ONE OF THE PROBLEM THAT
NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IS THE LOW LYING COMMUNITY NEAR THE SITE.

FORMULATION OF A JOB PLAN:

- ORIENTATION:
THE SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY MUST BE PRIORITIZED.
THE DAM SHOULD BE CONSTRUCTED WITHIN THE CONTRACT PERIOD AND ALLOWED
BUDGET.
THE ENVIRONMENT SHOULD BE GIVEN IMPORTANCE.
- INFORMATION:
GATHER DATA TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM INVOLVING THE COMMUNITY.
LOOK AT THE POPULATION, GENDER, AGE, WORK AND MANY OTHER ASPECT IN RELATION
TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY.
CHECK THE WORK/TIME SCHEDULES OF THE PROJECT.
MAKE AN ASSESSMENT TO WHAT FLORA AND FAUNA ARE AFFECTED IN THE
CONSTRUCTION.
- SPECULATION:
CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY OF RELOCATION.
CONSIDER ALSO THE POSSIBILITY OF WATERWAY DIVERSION.
CONSIDER THE ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION OF EMBANKMENTS.
- EVALUATION:
IF THE RESIDENTS ARE TO BE RELOCATED, WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF THIS MOVE?
DO THE RESIDENTS NEED TO BE COMPENSATED?
IF COMPENSATION IS CONSIDERED, IS IT WITHIN THE BUDGET?
IF WATERWAY DIVERSION IS CONSIDERED, WHAT IS ITS IMPACT IN THE ENVIRONMENT?
DOES IT POSE MORE DANGER OR LESS?
IF CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL EMBANKMENTS IS POSSIBLE, WILL IT HAVE A
SIGNIFICANT EFFECT TO THE BUDGET AND CONSTRUCTION TIME?
- DEVELOPMENT AND RECOMMENDATION:
RELOCATION AND COMPENSATION IS LIKELY THE BEST OPTION TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF
THE WHOLE COMMUNITY.
- IMPLEMENTATION AND FEEDBACK:
AFTER RELOCATION AND COMPENSATION, MAKE A STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF THE
RELOCATION AND EXTEND ADDITIONAL HELP TO THOSE WHO ARE GRAVELY AFFECTED.
