Description:

Assisted one-arm training includes exercises which replicate the motion and
demands of a real OAC or OAP. In Pull-Up Pro this includes the finger, strap, pulley
or band assisted exercises.

Subjective Training:

• Finger or strap method.

• Difficulty is self determined.

• Emotion based method can lead to complacency.

Objective Training:

• Pulley or band method.

• Difficulty is numerically measurable or descriptive.

• Reliable, repeatable and measurable method.

Technique:

• Use a fast up and slow down tempo.

• Full elbow compression with chin clear of hands.

• Passive to active hang between reps recommended.

Principles:

• Choose a setup which is challenging for the sets and reps programmed.
