TEACHER INPUT:
Relevance The students will use a T-Chart to determine what is professional dress and what is not. Discussion
about what they know about speaking politely and how to conduct themselves in a professional
MODEL: manner.
Routing Give students examples of polite words and unpolite words and explain them, point out pictures in a business
magazine on professional dress and talk about why it is considered professional
GUIDED PRACTICE:
Retaining / Rehearsing
Have students role play by interviewing each other from given questions and guide them to point out the correct way
show students examples of other student posters that was done the correct way
INDEPENDENT PRACTICE:
Students will write a brief script about speaking politely. Work on their poster board by cutting pictures out of business
magazines
