ACTIVITY 3
1. Sexual harassment can affect both men and women, according to
professionals and researchers. Harassment can take place at work, during
company-sponsored activities, or between coworkers outside of the
workplace. The victim of sexual harassment does not have to be the person
who was harassed; anyone who was harmed by the behavior can file a
complaint. Professors from colleges believe that we need to end the culture of
endorsing violence and harassment towards women, as well as the appalling
responses to those who have been harassed.
2. It has been established that up to 10 million children globally are subjected to
child sexual exploitation. One out of every four girls say they never feel secure
using a school latrine because of gender-based violence at school. according
to the study, 30% of females over the world claim that their first sexual
experience was forced. They claim that no industry is immune to or unaffected
by sexual harassment or its effects. Sexual harassment has a negative
influence on the life, health, prospects, financial independence, and
opportunities of the victims, and it costs businesses not just legal fees but also
lost productivity, morale, effectiveness, and talent.
3. Depending on the person's perspective or statement, you may be accused of
sexual harassment. Your comments and viewpoints are unwelcome and
irrelevant. According to the investigators, a police officer may use deadly force
if he or she has reasonable cause to believe a fleeing or actively resisting
suspect poses a dangerous threat to the officer or others. As far as I'm aware,
you can't be arrested without a warrant, and the same goes for searching your
home or neighborhood.
4. I believe that the student will be held accountable for his actions and will be
punished accordingly. According to the authority, the Department of Social
Welfare and Development (DSWD) would take the required disciplinary
actions as specified in Republic Act No. 9344, also known as the "Juvenile
Justice and Welfare Act of 2006."
5. Most laws have been recognized as being enacted to guarantee that our
communities are healthy and safe. Even the best-intentioned laws, however,
can backfire and have absurd or unfair consequences. Even if laws appear to
be reasonable and traditional, they may have unforeseen consequences. The
federal and state levels aren't the only places where unintended
consequences occur. Even if you honestly did not realize you were breaching
the law, I believe you cannot justify your acts by claiming you were unaware
they were illegal. I also believe that it is unrealistic to expect everyone to
memorize all the laws! Even lawyers are unaware of all this information.
PERFORMANCE TASK 1
A BOY WHO HAS BEEN CAT-CALLED
The entire day will be spent with Anna and her friends. She intends to spend
her weekends with them to catch up on studies and to unwind. After that, Anna, her
friends, and her boyfriend went to the arcade. They had a good time playing games
there. They were hungry after having a fantastic time in the arcade, so they went to a
restaurant for lunch. Anna and her companions went to the restroom after having
lunch. Jed, her boyfriend, was the only one at the table. At the restaurant, a fresh
group of friends, specifically a girl group, arrived. As soon as they walked in, they
noticed Jed alone at the table and began staring at him, hoping to gain his attention.
They were addressing Jed as "pogi" and requesting his phone number. Instead of
being bothered by them, Jed left the restaurant and waited for his girlfriend and her
friends outside.
