Topic: Healthcare System in Pakistan

Purposes
 To fulfill curriculum demand to acquire knowledge about the real situation
 To compare the acting policies of Pakistan with standards in order to know the scarcity of
health facilities of Pakistan’s Healthcare System
 To analyze and conclude the health-related issues and quality management with
minimum resources.
 To make suggestions to deal with the over workload and over population

Observations
 BHU has all the facilities as per standard.
 Staff is competent and cooperative.
 Building is in good condition. All rooms and offices are present as per standard.
 The BHU building has a beautiful garden at its entrance which is aesthetically pleasing.
 BHU has a transportation facility; 1 ambulance.
 Refers directly to the DHQ and THQ since affiliated RHC has its own huge workload.
 Almost all of the information charts are in Urdu; best suitable for village clientele.

Related issues
 Shortage of staff at BHU leads to a potential decline in quality assurance while delivering
health services.
Suggestions
 Govt. should provide proper faculty according to standards.
 Govt. should provide more non-stationed staff to BHU for the purpose of educating the
public about proper waste disposal to overcome most of the diseases.
