In TCS, I have worked on a Product called BSSM essentially an NMS/EMS. The Base Station
Subsystem Manager (BSSM) is the administrative terminal for the NORTEL's CDMA network. It
allows the operator to configure the various CDMA network elements (A.K.A subsystems), to monitor
their performance, and to perform troubleshooting activities.
Added several features in yearly releases following is the summary of the features.

Feature Integrated IP Backhaul (IPBH)

Period Mar 2007 to Oct 2007.

Description This feature introduces IP over Ethernet backhaul connectivity using integrated
components at the BTS and eBSC. The solution allows customers to migrate to
an Ethernet backhaul transport where Ethernet is cost competitive.
This feature development involves several teams across globe working for
different nodes. The work on BSSM Side Involved primarily providing the user
an interface solution for eBSC provisioning and changes to reconfigure eBSC
routing. Also the provision of the BTS is done from the BSSM.
Role Team Member – Code Submission Prime
I worked on the development/coding of this feature for release 16.0 of BSSM.
Activities involved covered the major phases of SDLC:
 Requirement study for OAM
 High Level Designing [HLD-Document]
 Detail Designing [DD-Document]
 Coding
 Design Testing Planning [DTP-Document]
 Design Testing.
