All of the following conditions must be met to be able to home quarantine:

On Infrastructure



Line for communication with family and health workers

Potable water

Cooking source

Bathroom with toilet and sink, if possible a separate one for the family
member affected. (If none, disinfect toilet immediately after every use
particularly surfaces in contact with affected member)

Solid waste and sewage disposal

On Accommodations


o

Ability to provide a separate bedroom for the patient, or separate bed

with enough distance (>3 feet or 1 meter) so long as there are no
vulnerable persons in the household

o
o
 Accessible bathroom in the residence; if multiple bathrooms are
available, one bathroom designated for use by the patient

On Resource for Patient Care and Support


o

Primary caregiver who will remain in the residence and who is not at
high risk for complications, and is educated on proper precautions

o
o

Medications for preexisting conditions, as needed; family planning

supplies as desired (Inquire for electronic prescription refill as per FDA
issuance.)

o
o

Digital thermometer, preferably one per patient, disinfected before and

after use Meal preparation

o
o

Essential shopping such as food

o
o

Masks, tissues, hand hygiene products

o
o

Laundry

o
o

Household cleaning products
