Go bananas for this Banana Sandwich! 


Serving for 2 people 

Ingredients: 
• 4 slices Sara Lee® 100% Whole Wheat Bread 
• 2 bananas cut in half lengthwise – the riper the better! 
• 2 eggs 
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon, bump it up to 1 teaspoon if you love
cinnamon. 
• ½ cup milk 
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 
• Pinch salt 
• ½ tablespoon butter 
• Maple syrup 
• Confectioner’s sugar (optional) 

Directions: 
Step 1: Grab a bowl and whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla,
cinnamon and salt together. 

Step 2: If you have time, soak the Sara Lee® 100% Whole
Wheat bread in the mixture for an hour. If not, a few minutes
will work just fine! 

Step 3: Melt the butter in a pan and place a slice of bread down
for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. 

Step 4: Flip the bread over and then place the sliced bananas on
top. Add the other slice of bread and then flip the sandwich
over to brown the other side. 
Ingredients: 
• 1 (12-oz.) pkg. Farmland® Homestyle Sausage 
• 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder 
• 1 tablespoon smoked paprika 
• 1 tablespoon vinegar 
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 
• 1 (3-oz.) pkg. light cream cheese 
• 1/2 cup crumbled cotija cheese 
• 1/2 cup crumbled quesadilla cheese 
• 8 large jalapeño chiles, slice lengthwise and remove
seeds 

Directions: 
Step 1: Heat oven to 400 degrees. 

Step 2: Cook sausage in medium skillet over medium-


high heat until well browned; drain. 

Step 3: Return sausage to skillet. 

Step 4: Stir chili powder, paprika, vinegar, garlic and


oregano into sausage; mix well. 

Step 5: Add cream cheese; mix until well combined,


turning heat onto low if needed. 

Step 6: Stir in remaining cheese. 


Step 7: Press large spoonful of sausage mixture onto
each jalapeño half; place on baking sheet. 

Step 8: Bake at 400 degrees. for 12 to 17 minutes until


filling is hot and jalapeño edges begin to wilt and brown.

Step 5: Use your spatula to press the sandwich down. When


both sides are perfectly browned remove and sprinkle with the
confectioner’s sugar. 

Step 6: Dip in maple sugar and enjoy each delicious bite!

Pineapple Coconut Mango Tequila Meatballs 

Meatball ingredients: 
• 1 lb. ground beef, lean 
• 1 lb. ground pork 
• 2 cloves garlic, minced 
• ¼ tsp. jarred ginger 
• ½ tsp. cumin 
• ½ tsp. oregano 
• ½ tsp. salt 
• 1 egg 
• 2 slices white bread 
• ⅓ cup milk 
• ⅔ cup Robert Rothschild Farm® Pineapple Coconut Mango
Tequila Sauce 

Dipping sauce ingredients: 


• 2 avocados 
• 1 small jalapeño 
• ¼ cup mayo 
• ¼ sour cream 
• 1 lemon, juiced 
• ½ tsp. salt 
• ¼ cup cilantro 

Directions: 
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet
with nonstick spray and set aside. 

Step 2: In a small bowl, top bread slices with milk. Let stand for 1-
2 minutes. 

Step 3: In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, egg, garlic, ginger,


cumin, oregano and salt. 

Step 4: Squeeze milk from bread and add the bread to beef
mixture. Combine beef mixture by handing just until combined. Do
not over mix. 

Step 5: Shape beef into evenly shaped meatballs and place on


baking sheet. Place meatballs in the oven and bake for 20 mins. 

Step 6: Pour Pineapple Coconut Mango Tequila sauce into a bowl.


Add warm meatballs and stir to coat. 

For the Dipping Sauce: 


Step 1: Place avocados in a bowl of a food processor along with
remaining ingredients; process until smooth.
