I PARTIAL HOMEWORK #1

EL PROGRESO, YORO 20 DE MAYO DE 2020

I already had a plan of about everything was going to be. And how we were going to
serve everything, without any complications. I told everyone who was helping with the
party about it:

“Guys we will start with some cheese nachos and punch to drink as a starter. Merlyn has
planned games for the guest. For the main course, we will have the mexican tacos, and
cocktails to drink. After the guests eat, we will have music so they can dance and have
time with everyone. For the dessert, we will have straberry cheesecake and some
champagne, and we will make a toast for the birthday girl. After the toast we will go
swimming in the pool and there will be punch for the guests.”

For the food and drinks, we had to buy the stuff a day before. We let most of the things
pre-prepared so it would be easier to make the food the next day. Merlyn prepared the
started food. Her mom and sisters prepared the main course, since it was mexican food,
and they had a little more knowledge about it. And the dessert was prepared by my
sister, since she loves to bake. Mean while the food was prepared, Merlyn’s dad and I
prepared the tables and chairs. And my mom was incharge of the drinks and guests.

For the preparation the was no complication, and everything was well, it was almost
time for the party so we let everything ready for it. My family was the one who was
going to serve the food so I explained them everything.

It was time already, the guest were arriving. My family serve the food as planned. I saw
Merlyn having a great time, and a lot of fun. I was so happy everything went as planned.
And I was having an awesome time.

It was time for the toast! I stood up, and said a few Word for my dear friend Merlyn, I
almost cried, I was so happy for her.

The party finished, she thanked me for everything. And gave a me a hug. It was a great
day…
