JANUARY 8, 2020

On January 8, 2020, my family went to SM Mall of Asia Seaside Boulevard

(Manila). It was a special day for me because I have given a chance to spend my
time to be with my family together with my brother's family. It's an incredible
feeling to watch your family laughing as if there's no tomorrow. Indeed, families
are like tree branches. We grow in separate directions, but our roots stay the
same.
 DECEMBER 16, 2019

On December 16, 2019, we went to church. Since this day was my rest day, I took
this opportunity to spend time with my family. Before we go to some amusement
park, we go first to church to visit our Lord and have time to thank Him for being a
good provider, a good father, and for always taking good care of my family. Just a
reminder that we should always prioritize God first. It's a happy moment to be
with your family after a long period of being focused, stressed, and anxious at
work.
 DECEMBER 10, 2019

On December 10, 2019, my wife Joan, my daughter Abigail and I went to Baclaran
Church, also known as The National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We
used to go to church every time we had free time. We believe that we met God at
Church. Going to church is one of our family bonding. It's my happiness to go to
the Lord with my family. Making God the center of our family makes my heart at
peace because I know and I believe that whatever obstacles we will be going to
encounter will be guided by the almighty God.
 OCTOBER 16, 2019

On October 16, 2019, I married my wife, Joan. This day is one I treasure the most.
It is because God gave me the best Gift ever in my life. He gives me a person who
will be going to be mine forever. God blessed me with a woman whom I can
cherish every single day that will pass. He gave me a woman who will be my
forever best friend. With all the obstacles that we faced together, we can finally
continue and build a new chapter of our lives, create great memories together,
and build a happy and strong family.
 DECEMBER 25, 2019

On December 25, 2019, my family celebretaed Christmast in Pandi, Bulacan. We

stayed in my mother-in-law's house. This day was my wife's first vacation in
Bulacan and her first Christmas with her family. We spend our time together, we
eat and drink together. We enjoyed the trip and Christmas so much. It was a
special moment because we had so much fun and had a chance to unwind as well.
 FEBRUARY 3, 2020
On February 3, 2020, I got to go back to New Zealand. Therefore, my family
accompanies me to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal. Along the
way, I feel sad because I will be far away again from my family. Being an Overseas
Filipino Worker is one of the most complicated jobs to be experienced. As an
Overseas Filipino Worker, you have to work far from your family, you miss them
most of the time, stress and depression will attack you anytime, and you feel
alone and lonely almost every day. However, I'm willing to endure this feeling to
give my family a good life.
 FEBRUARY 26, 2016
On February 26, 2016, I went home to the Philippines from Saudi Arabia to
celebrate my daughter Abigail's 7th birthday. I was happy because I got the
chance to be with my family for this special day for my daughter. We celebrated
her birthday, and I saw that she was so happy. Perhaps, it makes her heart happy
because we are all together and celebrated her birthday as a complete family.
 NOVEMBER 25, 2017

November 25, 2017, was my last day in the Philippines and my farewell day with
my family because tomorrow is my flight back to New Zealand. I was so sad at
that time because I was about to leave them again. However, to enjoy and
temporarily forget the truth that I will not be able to be with them starting
tomorrow, we decided to go out and eat outside.
 NOVEMBER 26, 2017
November 26, 2017, was my first flight going to New Zealand. My wife Joan and
daughter Abigail accompanied me to the Airport. We took a taxi to be there.
Along the way, we took a picture together to remember this day as a symbol of
sacrifice. I sacrifice to be far away from them and to be able to provide for their
needs and to give them a good life.
 NOVEMBER 26, 2017
On November 26, 2017, I flew for the first time to New Zealand to work. We took
a picture while we were outside at terminal 1 in the airport. At the same time, I'm
waiting for my colleague to arrive so that we can go inside altogether. At that
moment, I don't know how to feel because this is my first time going abroad and
to be far away from my family. However, I told myself that this was all for my
family. I will leave them to be able to provide for their needs and that to give my
daughter a splendid future.
 JANUARY 25, 2016
On January 25, 2016, my daughter had a family day activity in her school, and she
was a grade 1 student at that time. It's magical because it happened when I took a
vacation from abroad. We enjoyed the moment so much. I was so happy and
blessed because I'm with my family again after a long period of being away from
them.
 FEBRUARY 26, 2017
On February 26, 2017, we celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday together with
my family and friends at the beach. I saw the happiness and excitement in my
daughter's eyes. Although it's tiring and exhausting, we cannot deny the fact that
all of us enjoyed the simple birthday celebration.

On February 26, 2017, we went to church first before celebrating my daughter's
8th birthday on the beach. My daughter had a blessed and healthy year, and we
are grateful to God for granting her another year of life.
 MAY 20, 2013
On May 20, 2013, was my first time going home and my first vacation to the
Philippines after so many years of working in Saudi Arabia. We go out that time to
have a family day. We enjoyed our leisure time together.
 DECEMBER 25, 2016
On December 25, 2016, I celebrated Christmas eve with my family and our other
relatives and neighbors. It was a happy and enjoyable moment because we spent
and celebrated the special day with other people.
 MARCH 10, 2020
March 10, 2020, I am still working in the Philippines. I'm not yet working abroad.
My daughter is one year old at that time. It's hard to earn money in the
Philippines, especially if you don't have a stable job.
 SEPTEMBER 15, 2017

On September 15, 2017, We visited Antipolo Church. We got there

after the driving test in my agency. Instead of going there alone, I
decided to bring my family to get around. Indeed, to be a father, you
must include your family whatever and whenever you do.
 AUGUST 9, 2017
On August 9, 2017, we went to SM Sucat in Paranaque to get around and spend
more time with my family because, at that time, I was also fixing my papers again
to go back to New Zealand. We eat outside and play at some amusement park.
While I still have time to be with my family, it's better to spend it with them and
give my full attention.
 DECEMBER 24, 2019
On December 24, 2019, we took a bus to Pandi Bulacan. We decided to spend and
celebrate Christmas with the family of my wife. I know that my wife was very
excited at that moment because that was the first time she would be celebrating
Christmas with her family.
 JANUARY 8, 2020
We decided to spend our time together in SM Mall of Asia Seaside Boulevard on
January 8, 2020. (Manila). We took advantage of the situation while I was still in
the Philippines to roam around and have a good time. I want to make good
memories with my family before I return to New Zealand so that I may take it
with me.
