1. What strategies were applied for Zun Tzu to never lose a war? explain and elaborate
your answer

Sun Tzu taught himself to do, examining the lay of the land to craft his plan before waging war
against his opponent. He took five factors to heart: Moral Law, Heaven, Earth, the Commander,
and Method and Discipline to accomplish them. This made him unstoppable against his
enemies in the battle.

The Moral Law binds the people with their ruler without fear of death. Two assumptions are
telling here: the ruler’s moral ascendancy to govern; the people’s spirit to serve a moral ruler till
death.Heaven represents the climate cycle and weather flow (“night and day, cold and heat,
times and seasons”), an advantage (or disadvantage) in war footing. He put the elements in the
natural environment to his advantage to win the war or to subdue the enemy without bloodshed.
Earth consists of time and space (“great and small distances, danger and security, open ground
and narrow passes, chances of life and death”) in which war is waged. The
mastery of timing, surprise, speed, accuracy, and terrain spells success in war. The
Commander is the epitome of his self (“virtues of wisdom, sincerity, benevolence, courage,
strictness”) and his ability to lead war. He is the exemplar in rallying the entire army to victory.
Method and Discipline is in charge of marshaling the whole army structure ("appropriate
subdivisions, graduation of ranks among commanders, upkeep of highways via which supplies
may reach the Army, management of military budget").

Sun Tzu taught himself to intuit and to be. He became adept at foreknowledge or foresight. His
use of spies, calling them the “divine manipulations of threads,” allowed him to know the
enemy’s diskarte (disposition) ahead of time.3 By knowing the enemy’s diskarte, the conduct of
war is made swift, decisive, and successful. Victory is won. Otherwise, war drags on, making it
exhaustive and expensive for the warring forces.

2. If you were the Chief of either the PNP or AFP ,how will you handle the current problem
in insurgency?

If i were the commander or the PNP Chief, I will handle insurgency, not by fire, but with
sentiment. I will make my subordinates understand that causing an uprising or a revolt within
our organization will only cause harm not only in the group but to themselves as well, I will make
them feel heard and felt to whatever sentiment they have to understand the root of their
insurgency and hopefully relate with them to solve the issue.

3. Explain what SUNTSU means by ``Know thy enemy and Know your self , you need not
fear the result of a hundred bottles, If you know yourself and not the enemy , you are a
fool who meets defeat in every battle"
Success necessitates the use of information and benefits. Everyone in the world may be
considered as an adversary who takes advantage for a variety of reasons, and these sun tsu
quotes can be used to illustrate the poison of war, commerce, or even relationships. One must
be advanced in thinking from every word spoken and every action, while embracing the
consequences, and be prepared for other people's actions. Some may see this as a game of
chess, an illustration of human manipulation via their own ideals and sacrifices. When things go
wrong, it's better to be prepared with knowledge and information than to be trumped and played
as a fool.

Yes, it's cruel, but in this society, anyone may turn against you if their devotion is called into
question if your side is losing ground. I valued knowledge the most since it provided me with
facts and a list of my adversaries' disadvantages and advantages, allowing me to identify their
weak points. Titles and money will not remain or have worth in the hereafter, but disseminating
or distorting knowledge may damage someone's life.

4. How does the Zun Tzu principle "Know thy enemy and Know your self , you need not
fear the result of a hundred bottles, If you know yourself and not the enemy , you are a
fool who meet defeat in every battle" will help you in your future integration in the
professional world?

If you are aware of your adversary's strengths, you will be able to link their weaknesses where
you will win and live if they turn against you, and you will be able to repay the favor by disclosing
their weakest place. There is also a dilemma on your side: even if you can fool or destroy any
trace, the opponent must be intercepted in order to discover anything about you.

People nowadays appear to deliberately loaded their words for deceit, deceive people by their
personality and looks while inside, one may be a beaming face or a half-smirk masked by a
smile. Know your adversary, and be wary for the world is full with wolves in sheep's clothing. It
is your option to trust, but be aware that some have consequences, and no one is safe if you
trust the wrong person among hundreds and millions of individuals with agendas.

5. Apply the ways of management of risk in in your answer in number 3

To begin with, most risk managers do not consider themselves to be at war. A risk manager, on
the other hand, faces a variety of adversaries. Failure to succeed against such adversaries
might be the death of the company. According to Sun Tzu, recognizing your risks is not enough
to secure your success. Understanding the processes that might lead to risk is also essential for
success. Considering risks in a vacuum is also only half the solution.

By thinking about risk management (knowing your adversary) in the light of, you may recognize
the actual risks to your objectives by applying knowledge of what you have, a vision of where
you want to go, and a precise plan to get there in your business blueprint (know yourself). You
are now ready for fight. Using risk management to gain a better grasp of the genuine business
landscape will provide you with the tools you need to achieve greater company performance
and emerge triumphant!
