Bankers Life and Casualty

Insurance Sales, including Medicare Supplements, Long Term Care, Fixed Annuities, and Final Expenses
and Spousal Income Life Insurance. Currently working with Seniors at or near retirement, educating them about
Medicare, and creating viable and sustainable retirement income options. Field trainer for new agent hires.

July 2007 – February 2008


Managing Principal/Branch Manager Bonterra Mortgage Services, Inc.

Responsible for all aspects of small builder-owned mortgage company, including compliance, loan
negotiation, recruitment, builder/employee training, etc. Hired as a consultant to fix serious North Carolina
Banking compliance, and internal operational and financial problems. Doubled profitability and reduced
operational overhead by 40% within three months. Within six months company was in such excellent financial
shape, it was sold to a competitor and my position was eliminated unexpectedly.

January 2005 – February 2009


U.S. Director, The Obed Project

Non-Profit Ministry position focused on educational and service tours to Israel. Responsible for all
operations including basic accounting, tour coordination, airline booking, travel arrangements, teaching, etc.
Developed educational website and extensive written materials for ministry. Conduct thirteen educational tours to
Israel with in-depth teaching.

December 2003 – February 2005


Residential Mortgage Business Consultant

Consulted with HomeBanc Mortgage Team developing high-end builder construction lending business in
Charlotte, NC. Contacted and developed local business accounts and helped create and implement successful
business strategies designed to increase market share, revenue, and profitability. Company began experiencing
management and financial difficulties and was unable to implement the needed programs to grow the division.
Company was eventually purchased and liquidated by Countrywide Lending in early ’07.

Consulted with start-up Mortgage Company, Red Brick Lending, to develop high-end builder mortgage
services. Made significant organizational and restructuring recommendations to the company which were not
implemented. Company went out of business within ninety days of my departure.

July 1998 - November 2003


CTX Mortgage Corp.

Recruited for Builder Sales. Top producer for 4.5 of 5.5 years. Averaged $27-30 million/yr in production
with consistent average mortgage loan amount of $175K. Consistent awards for Highest Branch Capture and
Branch Customer Satisfaction exceeding 80% & 85% respectively. Highest profitability per loan for Branch and
highest gross production for 4 years. President’s Club 4 years. Responsible for training Centex Homes New Home
Consultants in all aspects of financing and mortgage presentations. Responsible for training and mentoring all
CTX Mortgage new hires. Helped develop new financing programs for Centex Homes.

July 1997 - July 1998


First Republic Mortgage Corporation

While working at D.R. Horton I was recruited by the Regional VP of First Republic Mortgage to help
promote sales and manage loan originators in the Branch. Left Horton and joined FRMC in July as Branch Sales
Manager. Averaged $1,000,000/month in originations as a working Branch Manager. Managed and trained
existing sales staff of ten, also responsible for recruiting, hiring, managing and training additional sales staff.
Company was sold in June of 1998 to a competitor and restructured management, eliminating my position.

February 1997 - July 1997


D.R. Horton Custom Homes

Relocated to Charlotte, NC from Melbourne, FL. Worked as a Builder Representative for the 4th largest
builder in Charlotte. Recruited to open a new community selling homes priced from $149,000 - $185,000.
Responsible for all aspects of starting up a new community, as well as implementing successful marketing and
sales strategies. Jump-started the fast track sales process creating immediate sales working out of a trailer with no
sales model or existing homes to show using only floor plans and renderings.

January 1991 - February 1997


Lennar Homes, Inc.
Director of Sales, Space Coast Division

New Home Sales for the largest New Home builder in the state of Florida. Company ranked #7 in the
United States by Builder Magazine. Top producer 1991-1994. Promoted to Director of Space Coast Region Sales
8/94. Responsible for hiring, training, contract negotiation, sales management, marketing, land acquisition, etc. for
the Space Coast Division. Generated $15-20 million per year in sales with six sales people selling in four diverse
communities. Homes priced from $90,000 - $190,000. Instrumental in opening a new 600 unit community,
including all planning, permitting, marketing, and sales.

June 1987 - January 1991


Catalina Homes, Inc.

New Home Sales. Worked in four different communities in three different counties selling homes priced
from $75,000 - $140,000. Promoted to Area Sales Manager May 1990 and worked in that position until the
company was taken over and liquidated by the RTC in January 1991. Responsible for four other sales people.
