REFLECTION

1."The state shall promote a just and dynamic social order that will ensure the prosperity and independence of the
nation." In what way can the country's development be promoted?

The Philippines' widespread poverty is one of the long-term challenges that remains a "threat" to the life of all
disadvantaged Filipinos. The fundamental source of poverty is unemployment, which causes significant social
inefficiencies and hinders the country's growth and economic advancement. Country development is accomplished
by policies that offer adequate social services to assist our fellow Filipinos, particularly those who are less fortunate
in life, in the fields of health, education, housing, and other services. Promoting full employment, growing living
standards, and enhancing the quality of life for all is one of the keys to eradicating poverty and unemployment in a
society with a just and dynamic social order.

Article II Section 9 of the Philippine Constitution of 1987 states, "free the nation and its people from poverty,
develop a humane society, and equalize work opportunities for everyone." Overall, the goal of executing the
numerous initiatives mentioned above is to serve and uplift the lives of all Filipinos to advance and develop the
country.

2. What is the vital role of the youth in nation-building?

Youth have a critical role in strengthening the country. It has the potential to aid a country's growth and
development. One step we may take is to be the voice in our society, to speak up about what is good and wrong.
The obligation and devotion to be a great servant and a member of society begin inside ourselves by having the
discipline and understanding our duties to achieve and grow our ability to think critically and sense of civic
responsibility in the community. For example, teenagers voting wisely in political matters has a significant influence
that can benefit everyone.

We, as Filipinos, are not all utterly conscious of the necessity of voting for those who are excellent and deserving of
public office. Their magical words deceive us, and the large sums of money they provide during campaign elections
are often seen as generosity by other Filipinos. However, shortly after the election, other politicians are no longer
doing what they did during the campaign, except a few who have shifted their focus to something else. Long-term
difficulties are not adequately addressed, and their claims are based on falsehoods. Filipinos would be the ones
who suffer as a result of the Government's reckless and inept politicians. "Regret is usually at the end," as the
saying goes.

There are times when we make decisions that do not turn out as well as we had hoped. As a young person, be a
voter concerned about the nation's future growth. Politicians' candidates rely on us to fill our brains with
understanding what is going on in our country, take action to be intelligent in voting, and who we support. It is our
job to have a positive impact on others. Furthermore, using social media platforms to raise awareness about
current concerns and challenges might make a significant difference in the Philippines.
