Extremely realistic highschool love, which also makes it a slow burner, but definitely worth the

watch.
Unlike many romantic shows out there, this show has an extremely slow romantic progression
between the two characters. It follows their lives, them figuring out their school life, finding a path for their
future, while also trying to manage their relationship. It explores teenagers' inner struggles of trying to
define who they are in this world, their relationship with their family and friends, choices that may change
their whole lives, understanding their emotions expressing them, it’s a very surreal watch if you have been
through these phases in your life.
For many people, this show can be boring. It’s not dramatic, it’s not funny, it doesn’t have an
interesting premise that can hook the viewers from the first episode, nothing screams “you should watch
me! “It’s just a very simple and realistic relationship between two teenagers. You feel attached to the
characters because they feel “familiar” to you, and you’ll want to watch their relationship and future plans
out more and more, and that’s why people watch this anime.
This is not an anime that you can binge, considering how “slow” and generally “non-dramatic” it
is, as it can be rather boring at times. It’s better to watch slowly, enjoying the little things in each episode
that changes their relationship and world view. While the ending is an open ended one, the after-credit
scenes will give you the closed ending through various images, if you don’t want the anxiety that comes
with trying to interpret an ending.
Animation and soundtrack quality is nothing special, good enough that it serves the purpose.
This is a different romantic anime compared to many others, so if you want something unique, this
show could definitely deliver.
