MOVIE REVIEW
(The Little Prince)

As I was browsing the internet, I saw a movie (The Little Prince)

that looks very interesting to me. I read some review of it and I
became so curious on what it really does so I decided to watch it.
Now, after I watched it, I want to give my own review of it. The
Little Prince is about a child who is forced to be mature and to fit
in a world of grown ups, and then there was an old man who
teaches her how to live in the world like that.
The movie starts by introducing the girl who was pushed and
forced to be mature and to fit in a world of grown ups. Her
mother is preparing her to the prestigious Werth Academy. Her
mother made her a big board where her summer life was
planned. Every minute of her summer life was productive. There’s
no time for her leisure, it is only for her to study and prepare for
school. Then, there was their neighborhood, an old man, who
throw a paper plane to the girl while she was studying. The
paper plane has a story in it. The little girl got interested on the
story. He went to the old man’s house, and ask for the continuation
of the story of the little prince. The old man brings the girl to the
world of the little prince. The aviator met the little prince when he
crashed to the Sahara Dessert. The little prince asks the aviator to
draw him some sheep. The little prince don’t like the drawing of
the first three sheep until the aviator draw him a box with 3 holes.
The little prince and the aviator talks about their life, on how they
come up into that place. The little prince tell the lessons he
learned from his travel.
The movie was very eye-catchy, the animations and its whole
cinematography. I also like the plot of the story but it somehow
makes me wonder into some scenes because I don’t get the idea
and the connection of some scenes to another but if you really try
to analyze and understand it you would definitely love it, just like
I do. I love how a very essential lesson in our life is put into a
children movie like this. I can say that all of us love it.
There are so many quotes in the movie that could definitely
taught you a lesson in life like, "It is only in the heart that one can
see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye". This quote is
reminding us and telling us that the true value of life cannot be
seen or cannot be defined by materials, life can only be defined
by something we really need that can only seen by our hearts.
Our eyes can be deceived by the things around us but the heart
cannot. There so many things in the world that we need, like
friends and family. It is not how you see your friends and family,
it is how you feel, care and love them because caring and loving
your friends and family is very essential in growing up. You can
never grow up like you planned yourself to be if you don’t know
the value of love and care for others. You can grow up but there
is still something missing in you. This movie can also taught you to
enjoy your life and make it worth-living.
I think it is better to recommend this movie to the young ones.
They could appreciate this movie because of the animations. And
it is better because this movie can taught them many lessons like
having some friends is nice because there is someone you can trust
and lean on to when you need some help and this can also taught
them to enjoy their life while they’re still young. Moreover, I
wouldn’t suggest this movie to the adults because they think that
this movie is only for child cause it’s animated not knowing that
this movie is really great.
This movie is really great. I love everything about it so I would
rate as 4.5 out of 5. I love it very much. I would definitely watch it
many times. I can also a sure you that I could recommend this to
others.
