Answer all the questions . Write your answer under each of the question. You
can use computer for typing the answer. The answer is based on your own
research and reference in internet. Do not copy from your friends and the file
upload must be save as PDF file according to the date line.

1. What are the different between analogue and digital signal? Explain briefly.

The major difference between both signals is that the analog signals have
continuos electrical signals, while digital signals have non-continuous.

2. One of the ADC is Flash ADC Converter, list the advantages of this
converter.

-It is the fastest type of ADC because the conversion is performed

simultaneously through a set of comparators.
-Its simple and easier to design.

3. What are the difference between the DAC and ADC?

ADC convert the raw audio signal into a digital signal for storage meanwhile DAC
do the opposite.DAC take digital signal and convert them into analog signals that
travel to the speaker or headphones as an electrical current.

4. Explain the functions of the Central Processing Unit inside the computer
Carries out the instructions of a computer program so that it can perform
the basic arithmetical, logical, and input/output operations of a computer
system.

5. State differences between Main Memory and Cache Memory.

Cache Memory is smaller and fast memory component in the computer. It holds
the copies of data that are commonly used by the CPU.On the other hand,RAM
is the primary memory that stores programs and data in current use.It helps the
CPU to access data within a minimum amount of time.

6. List the advantages of DRAM compare to SRAM.

The simplicity of the cell.It only requires a single transistor compared to around
six in a typical static RAM,SRAM memory cell.In view of its simplicity, the costs of
DRAM are much lower than those for SRAM,and they are able to provide much
higher level of memory density.

7. What is the main difference between EPROM compare to PROM?

PROM can be programmed just once means that it can be written only
one time meanwhile EPROM is erasable,it can be reprogrammed or
rewritten.

8. What are the different between ROM and RAM? Explain briefly.

RAM is volatile memory that temporarily stores the files you are working
on.ROM is non-volatile memory that permanently stores instructions for
your computer.
