India has launched the ‘Technology-based Energy Solutions: ANS - B


Innovations for Net Zero’, in partnership with US to accelerate India’s
transition to clean and renewable energy to achieve the net zero target
by 2070.
• The initiative aims at the development and implementation of next-
generation clean and renewable energy, energy storage, and carbon
sequestration to tackle climate and clean energy challenges.

• The funding for this initiative is given by United States-India Science &
Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF), in partnership with Social
Alpha (an NPO promoting S&T entrepreneurship).
• The new program aligns with the goals of the U.S.-India Strategic
Clean Energy Partnership and will be administered by the bi-national
Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF).

Unified Logistics Interface Platform’s
(ULIP) Hackathon – ‘LogiXtics’
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has ANS - C
launched the Unified Logistics Interface Platform’s (ULIP) Hackathon –
‘LogiXtics’ – to invite more innovative solutions for the logistics
industry.
• The ULIP Hackathon – LogiXtics is organised by NITI Aayog and Atal
Innovation Mission and supported by National Industrial Corridor
Development Corporation (NICDC) and NICDC Logistics Data Bank
Services Limited (NLDSL).

• Purpose of ULIP Hackathon – to create a transparent platform for ANS - C

transmission of logistics related information in real-time for all


stakeholders and to reduce logistics cost.

3rd meeting of the India-Central Asia Dialogue was held in New Delhi ANS - A

Jaishankar.
• Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz
Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Republic of
Uzbekistan took part in the meeting.
• The 1st edition of the dialogue was established in 2019.

• 2022 is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between India and Central Asian States.
• Last year, a line of credit of $1 billion was announced to develop
infrastructure development projects in Central Asian countries.
• Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme for
capacity building and human resource development of the Central
Asian countries, especially in Information Technology and
Communication Skills in the English language, was also appreciated.

• Dushanbe, Tajikistan will host the 2nd High-Level International


Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable
Development”, 2018-2028 in June 2022.
• The participants of the Dushanbe Conference will prepare for the UN
Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the
Implementation of the Objectives of the Water Decade in New York in
2023.

• The participants also expressed support for the proposal to declare ANS - A
2025 as the International Year of Glacier Conservation and the creation
of the international foundation for the protection of glaciers.
