SEBI’s ALeRTS Committee

SEBI has formed a new committee named ‘Advisory Committee for ANS - A
Leveraging Regulatory and Technology Solutions (ALeRTS)’, headed by
Madhabi Puri Buch (former whole time member of SEBI).
• Total members – 7
• Purpose – to enhance technological capabilities and explore
appropriate technology solutions for early detection of market
anomalies.
• The panel will also recommend improvements on the various on-going
technology projects and help SEBI design in-house technological
systems.

• The Indian Ocean Dialogue was organized with the help of Indian
Council for World Affairs and the Indian Ocean Rim Association
(IORA) Secretariat.
• The last edition of the Indian Ocean Dialogue was hosted by UAE.
• Indian Ocean Dialogue is a Track 1.5 Dialogue.

capacities to support farmers to adopt sustainable agri-food systems.
• The state govt has already established the Rythu Bharosa Kendras
(RBKs) to remove fake seeds, pesticides and fertilisers from
markets.
