" USU In My Eyes"

When talking about USU, this is one of my dreams to be able to study at USU. In my view, USU is a highly
respected university because USU is the largest and best university in North Sumatra. I know USU since I
was in high school, I think USU is the right place for people who want to get better facilities and
education. And to enter USU I need two years to get it, I have failed several times to get into USU, but I
never gave up on being able to enter USU, because I believe USU is the right place for me. I am the type
of person who should be able to get what I want even if there are many obstacles I don't care because I
believe there is a good result behind it.

When I was in school, many people talked about USU, about what is good for usu and how to get into
USU, and many of my teachers came from USU. And since then I have been motivated to enter USU.
Before I became a USU student, I only heard from people how old was. People say usu is a beautiful and
green place and it is also wide. Besides that, qualified educators are also the basis for why I want to
enter USU.

After I successfully entered USU and became one of the students there, I was very grateful because not
everyone got the same opportunity as me. But there are things that make me not very happy with my
graduation this year, because because of the corona virus pandemic, I and my other friends cannot
experience direct lectures at usu face-to-face but lecture online so we new students cannot explore. usu
more and enjoy different facilities from usu.

Although I have never studied face-to-face at USU but I have visited USU several times, such as the USU
entrance test and to see friends, because there are many of my friends who study at USU, this is also
one of my reasons why I want to enter usu, because many friends make me not feel alone or feel
unknown, because I don't come from the city where USU stands, I come from a place that is quite far
from Usu and doesn't know the area around Usu, as long as I was taken to test and see my friends also
saw usu and surrounded usu.

And it doesn't feel like now it's almost a semester I am a USU student, and in a few days we will hold
final semester exams, even though it's almost a semester we are studying this is very insignificant, like
just yesterday I started studying at USU, even though I couldn't enjoy the facilities what is in usu but
during the orientation period we were told what we could enjoy as USU students, including the library,
at usu there is a very large and complete library that can be visited by students when they have free
time, in addition to that the students can also borrow usu centralized books online. In addition, there is
a usu bus which is usually called linus, this can be used by USU students to come to places far away
around usu, because usu is very wide. Then there is free wifi for everyone, every student can get free
wifi anywhere around us, this is to make it easier for students to do assignments if they have to access
the internet. Then there are many organizational activities that students can participate in to get more
friends, relations and other things.
Besides that, because I am a Muslim where I have to pray five times a day, at usu it is very easy to find a
mosque, almost every faculty in usu has a mosque so this is not a problem for a Muslim like me. In
addition, in usu there is also a deer garden, this can also be an entertainment for students who are tired
of many tasks by seeing deer and feeding them.

I am a student majoring in Japanese at USU. Why did I choose Japanese for college, because I am a
person who likes to learn many languages, maybe I can travel around the world easily and not be
constrained by the language of a country, even though at this time I still find it difficult to adapt to my
courses, I keep trying so that I can follow the lesson well. Fortunately, in the Japanese language
department, I have good friends and help each other so that I can follow the lessons given by our
lecturers.

All lecturers in the Japanese language department are also very good, they provide direction until we all
understand what they say, besides that our seniors are also kind, they want to help us who are new to
studying the courses our lecturers provide, and they are ready to help us if we asked and sometimes
they offered to help. Apart from learning Japanese, we also have general subjects such as religious
education, humanities, English and other subjects. It's great fun being able to learn a new language,
there are lots of new words to use. Usu in my eyes is a very good campus that can provide what its
students need.

My hope in the future is that I can consistently study, in addition I also hope that all my lecturers are still
the same, and I hope we can study face-to-face with other lecturers and friends. For almost one
semester I was a USU student. I couldn't feel the facilities at USU. And I also want to convey to the
bureaucracy and the usu board so that we can immediately get our alma mater, because we haven't got
it yet and it's almost a semester and there is no discussion about when we will get our alma mater.
Besides that, we new students also haven't got the free quota for college like our seniors who already
got it. I hope USU can become a better campus in the future.
