This presents the data on why they will use the experimental calamansi

(extract) insect repellent since it is fragrant, convenient, and easy to make.

 In the 7th statement, I use the calamansi (extract) insect repellent because of

its fragrant, 16% (53.3%; n=16) have answered agree while 13% (43.3%; n= 13)

strongly agree and for disagree and strongly disagree they both have 0% (0%; n=0).

As a result, with a weighted mean of 3.40 (x= 3.40; agree= 2.50-3.49 ), it addresses

the fragrance of the calamansi (extract) insect repellent.

Next, agree and strongly agree ends up with a tie of 15% (50%; n=15) that the

respondents will use the calamansi (extract) insect repellent because of its

convenience and ease of making. On the other hand, strongly disagree and disagree

got 0% (0%; n=0) with the given situation. It is supported by the calculated weighted

mean of 3.50 (x=3.50; strongly agree= 3.50 - 4.00); they will use the product because

it is easy to make and handy.

As stated in the article by Bugayong et al. (2019) concluded that the

development of calamansi (Citrus microcarpa B.) as an essential oil where it is

identified as rich in citrus has an abundant source, an inexpensive raw material supply

from a pericarp waste, low-cost, and a straightforward extraction method. Likewise,

the researchers will conduct an experimental development of calamansi as an essential

oil and investigate its components. The factor of producing a low-cost product

extraction will also be employed in the research.
