Arizona State University is committed to helping students create success. To help fund a student’s education,
we offer merit-based scholarships to international students who demonstrate high academic achievement.

New American University Scholarship


International first-year and transfer applicants are encouraged to submit an ASU admission application, official transcripts, and test
scores to be automatically considered for a New American University scholarship.

Conditionally admitted students receive an award when they pass English Language Program Advanced 2 level with minimum 84% or B overall grade.

Not all students will qualify. Eligibility factors include highly competitive GPA and test scores. Awards are made in fall and spring semesters only. Summer-start students will receive any awarded scholarship
in their first fall semester. Eligible students must be on F-1 visas. Students who receive full sponsorship are not eligible for these awards. ASU and Kaplan reserve the right to revoke any admission or
scholarships due to incorrect self-reported information.

 tudents awarded a New American University Scholarship must meet renewal criteria each year in order for their scholarship to continue. The award is renewable for a total of 8 (Year 1 admission
students) or 4 (transfer admission students) consecutive fall and spring semesters of eligibility. More detail: students.asu.edu/scholarships/renewal

Students who are admitted with deficiencies must meet the deficiencies in order to become eligible for a scholarship award.

Global Launch admission and progression scholarships


Undergraduate ASU-USA Pathways admission
All students who get an unconditional offer for ASU-USA Pathways are guaranteed this award:
• 3-term program: $8,500 on total tuition
• 1-term program: $3,600

Degree matriculation after Pathways


On completion of ASU-USA Pathways, high achieving students are awarded a progression scholarship on their bachelor’s degree tuition.
• GPA 3.25+ and successful completion of Pathways program: $5,000 renewable annually*

Kaplan International award


Students who do not meet the criteria for a scholarship from ASU may be eligible for a Kaplan-funded scholarship if they are:
• Undergraduate applicants for Year 1 admission at the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe or West campus
• Graduate applicants to programs in W. P. Carey School of Business or Thunderbird School of Global Management
For undergraduate students, the Kaplan International scholarship is awarded each semester until completion of their first spring
semester at ASU. After that, it will be renewed* by ASU for 6 or 7 additional semesters (fall and spring only).
