Activity:

For me curriculum is important because it’s not only for student but also to the teachers
and shared goals together. It help us to ensure that we are on the right track. In the first place,
before we entered the school or enrolled, we had examinations and interview so that we can
assure that we are fit to our curriculum. Even we want to become a teacher but the way we act
and show our skill is for Entrepreneur then we must enroll to the BSE.

Analysis:
A. Yes, if there’s no curriculum we don’t have to provide teachers, students, administrators
and community stakeholder with a measurable plan and structure for delivering a quality
education. It includes the learning outcomes, standard and core competencies that
students must demonstrate before advancing to the next level.

B.
1. Catriona considered as traditional where she can see the school as a preparation of life.
While Pea considered as progressive because she can see the school as part of life.

2. For me, the ideas of Pia was really true and realistic. In my college life I realized the
importance of being a student and as a college student it’s not important having a highest
grade or being top 1, it is just a prize for yourself because this level is not easy as what I
think. This is a survival and really happen today like Pia ideas. It’s doesn’t really matter
the score because it can’t measure my knowledge and learnings.

3. Yes, it also valuable and considered in real life situation because it is part of her
experience as a traditional that she thinks the teacher will always give her an information
until she can graduate. Catriona has a point.

Application
 In writing resume, even you write everything you want but it will fade who you
are I mean knowledge and learnings can’t write to the paper but showing and proving it
to yourselves.
Remember, one thing we shoved never put on our resume that we don’t need to put and
describe our skills and all because it has its own section. Instead, thread those keywords
through the body of your resume text.

I learned the important of new curriculum today. I understand why teachers always
gave us an assignment and we should research it from our own benefit. I can also see the
difference between traditional curriculum practices and progressive. I realize that having
progressive curriculum practices today makes us matured and have a cooperation with
other people. Teachers will always guide us so don’t be worry to approach them. We can
learn from our own experience especially in demo teaching that we can be able apply it
soon.
