I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of 40 minutes discussion, the learners should be able to:

A. Identify the different kinds of colours and shape ;


B. appreciate the importance of colours and shapes ;
C. demonstrate understanding of colours and shape

Topic: Colours and Shape

Materials: Pictures; Charts; Chalkboard; Crayons Chalk

B. Lesson Proper

1. Activity: " Identify Me "


 The teacher will show a different pictures to the class.
 The teacher will let the learners to identify the pictures
 The students will identify the pictures they pick and name it.

2. Analysis
Looking back to the activity, the teacher will ask the following questions:
 What have you observed in the activity?
 What can you say about the activity?
 How the students did the activity?
 What do you think is the relevance of the activity in our topic for today?
3. Abstraction: “ Build Me “

 The teacher will show a charts contain the different shapes and colours.
 The teacher will call students to participate regarding with the discussions.
 The teacher will introduce the topic to the class.

SHAPE- form of an object or its outline, outer boundary or outer surface

COLOR- is the characteristic of visual perception described through color categories,


with names such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple.

4. Application: " A Minute to draw it "


 The teacher will give instructions to the students.
 The teacher will give a piece of paper and indicate if what students will draw.
 The other students will also colour the works of their classmates.
 The students will participate in front.
 The students who participate will get an additional points for performance
task.
 The students will draw and colour ff:
Triangle, square, star, circle, rectangle, oval,
Blue, orange, violet, red, yellow, green

IV. EVALUATION:
Direction: Draw a line from the left and right columns to its matching item in the
center. Get one sheet of paper and pass it in front.

V. ASSIGNMENT:
Direction: Bring any example of shapes from your home and advance
reading from your book page 108-110
