Objectives
At the end of the lesson, each pupil should be able to:
a. Cognitive
The learners demonstrate understanding of lines, colors, space, and harmony through
painting and explains/illustrates landscapes of important historical places in the community
(natural or man-made) using one-point perspective in landscape drawing, complementary colors,
and the right proportions of parts.
b. Affective
The learners will able to appreciate the historical places and the complementary colors in
life.
c. Psychomotor
The learners should sketch natural or man-made places in the community with the use of
complementary colors. The learner draws/paints significant or important historical places.
Materials: pictures of beautiful scenery, works that use complementary colors, color wheel,
pencil, bond paper, water color, (if no water color available, those natural coloring)
B. Lesson Proper
1. show to them a picture of Butterfly, Cat and Roses. Ask the pupils, what colors
are used in each picture?
2. discuss the color wheel chart. Ask the pupil, what colors on the color wheel are
opposite?
3. Let the pupils do activity on drawing and painting. Give them the instructions
to be followed.
C. Evaluation
1.Ask the pupils, how can you demonstrate knowledge of complementary colors
in everyday activities? (clothing example)
2. What is the meaning of complementary colors? Give some examples.
3. The picture created by the pupils will be reposted. Give the corresponding
score the level of your achievement based on the rubric and standard follows.
