Time : 11:00 AM-12:00 PM MWF
Date : March 23, 2021

I. Learning Objectives:
At the end of the period, the grade 7 pupils are expected to:
a. identify color harmonies;
b. make artworks using the different color harmonies.

II. Subject matter:


a. Topic: Color Harmonies
b. Reference: Dizon, Hernando S. Sining sa Araw-araw. Book Media Press. Marikina City.

c. Materials: Laptop, projector, white screen, water color/ poster paint, water, bond
paper, and color wheel

III. Procedures:
Preliminary Activities

a) Prayer
b) Attendance
c) Recapitulation
The teacher calls a student to recap yesterday’s lesson (introduction of colors).

IV. Lesson Proper


a) Activity/Motivation
The teacher groups the students into three groups. Group 1 will be given instruction
how to make monochromatic colors, Group 2 will have complimentary colors, and
Group 3 will have analogous colors.

b) Analysis
The teacher will show different paintings in the screen and students will identify if it’s
either analogous, monochromatic or complementary.

c) Abstraction
The teacher discusses further of the color harmony.

d) Assessment (Product-based)
Students are tasked to paint the most beautiful thing they’ve seen in their life. They
must apply their learnings in color harmony.

Rubric for evaluating the output

a) Originality- 10 pts.
b) Content - 20 pts.
c) Accuracy- 35 pts.
d) Creativity- 35 pts.
Assignment:
5 pcs Bring Bond Paper, Scissors, 7 pcs colored paper (colors must have red, orange, yellow,
green, blue and violet), and paste for our next activity.
