LEAF PRINTMAKING

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to;
a. Identify the different printmaking from natural and man-made
objects
b. Appreciates the artwork using a leaf printmaking.
c. Make an artwork using leaves to create a prints

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Leaf Printing
Reference: K-12 CGp.21, Learner’s Materials p.184-188
Materials: laptop, paint, bond paper, cotton buds, leaves
Strategy: Collaborative Learning

III. PROCEDURE
A. Preliminary Activities
1.Prayer
2.Checking of attendance
3.Review of the previous lesson

B. Motivation
The teacher will let her students observe the surroundings and let them
identify the colors they observed.

C. ACTIVITY
 The teacher will paste a different picture of fruits and vegetables
printmaking products and pictures of fruits and vegetables at the
board.
 The teacher will call three pupils and let them identify the
appropriate fruits and vegetables that was used in the printmaking
by connecting the pictures

D. ANALYSIS
Guide Questions:
a. Based on our activity, what is your idea about the pictures that
was posted on the board?
 The teacher will explain to them what is printmaking
 The teacher will show a short video clip about leaf printmaking
 The teacher will demonstrate to the pupils on how to do leaf
printmaking

E. ABSTRACTION
 The teacher will ask the pupils on what are the other materials that
can be use in printmaking.
 The teacher will tell the pupils that they can use anything to create
different designs in printmaking.
 The teacher will ask the pupils on what are their appreciation in
making the printmaking.

F. APPLICATION
 The teacher will divide the class into eight groups.
 The teacher will distribute the materials prepared.
 The teacher will let the pupils try leaf printmaking

IV. EVALUATION
