WHAT IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Fajardo (2009) defines entrepreneurship as the


new or different ways of doing things technology,
marketing, human relations, and management.
Fajardo (2009) also stresses that
entrepreneurship is the effective and efficient
way of managing the business capacity and
quality of an individual toward customer
satisfaction.

1. Get interested in creating something useful
to the society or community.
2. Being sensitive to what is beautiful and to
the day-to-day needs of the
society/community.
3. Rely on oneself instead of being dependent
on others.
4. Conscious and aware of his/her
society/community's sources of income.
SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR

Are pioneers of innovations that benefit humanity.


Create solutions that are efficient, sustainable,
transparent, and have measurable impact.
Eleuterio (2000) states that a social entrepreneur
must be visionary, sees opportunities around
him/her, and develops all avenues of business
growth (education, health, security, and etc.)
Drucker adds that social entrepreneurs are hunter
gatherers. They learn how to deal with mistakes
and do not change to fit their environment.
